The Edmonton Oilers had Game 1 in the palm of their hands last night; however, a third period collapse gifted the Vancouver Canucks the victory. Now, heading into game 2, the Oilers have there backs against the one. Luckily for Oilers fans, it’s a position they’ve been in many times before and they’ve found a way to recover.
Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin go live for Oilersnation Everyday at noon only on the Oilersnation YouTube channel. Finally, Gazdic will give his opinion on the Darnell Nurse and Cody Ceci pairing, who were on the ice for three of the five goals against.

the arrogance and entitlement of edmonton sports fans and their media is astounding.. and you wonder why theyre considered Toronto west for us here in Vancouver.. we beat you 4 times in regular season (ya i know playoffs are different), we won the division.. we're deeper than you with a ten times better defence and yet apparently were just a little bump in the road for the almighty oilers who have what.. tell me what they have.. they have two of the best players in the world and a goal scorer for Mcdavid.. yes that is great.. wheres your goalie.. where is the semblance of a defence,. the 9 million dollar pylon? where's your depth.. you were lucky to be up in that game, you were gifted a lead and still gagged it away, because guess what.. the Canucks are a bit better than you thought.. maybe stop reading the press clippings and do it where it counts.. on the ice..and maybe, just maybe, respect your opponent.. yes that opponent that spanked you all year.. good luck

I was at th game last night with my son, and the Vancouver Canucks have the lowest class fan base ive ever seen. In the 20 min walk to my vehicle i saw several canuck fan groups activley trying to pick fights and start shit with oiler fans. As well as several instances in the rink with my son and I having to back off from extremely obnoxious, intoxicated nucks fans. The whole league should be ashamed. Hell, they even went after women and kids!! No class canucks!
Why wouldn't the Canuck fans feel confident, we beat you guys when our 3rd string goalie was absolute dogsh*t. When(if) he loses 1 more, we go to our main backup goalie DeSmith, who is supposed to be better by all means, then theres another potential goalie option if Demko ever gets back healthy in time. Ian Cole single handedly was responsible for your first 3 goals against us, and we were told he was sitting out but ended up playing. And fans will be fans I get some of the turds will be extreme, but don't forget even watching you guys now the lack of respect you are putting on our team at the start of this video is laughable, to the point it's making me laugh thinking of the hecklers pissing you guys off more at our home game. Enjoy the series Canucks are not worried, we were for the first 20 minutes though.
