Shanahan isn’t mngmt material. He blew it picking rookies over Babcock (fired over sophomoric personnel conflict) & hunter. Years of post-season mediocrity. Burnt the farm,draft picks,went small.let good players walk for free.
Don’t trade scoring for defense! Remember, Montreal traded Turgeon neutered their potential. And get rid of that lame Shanahan motto, “the passion that unites us all!” That’s not a playoff success mentality. THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE! And, why didn’t you adopt Snoop Dogs’ art of the the leaf symbol. It was excellent!
Plus, mngmt needs to push back against the toxicity of the media which impairs by undermining maple leaf success

All I can say is Keefe manned up and accepted responsibility and the consequences of 8 yrs of playoff under achievement. This is more than I can say for Shanahan, who says he is sorry but apparently doesn't have to face any consequences.
