I’ve tested that theory, as they don’t seem to do well when we’re on national tv and I watch. Alas, here we are.

It hurts because they legit play well and still lose

I stopped watching and they scored to tie it. I said I wouldn’t watch the OT as well in case I was cursed. When TNT cut the broadcast I had to come out to find the new channel for my wife. I watched a few seconds of OT after flipping the channel before going back to my office. Guess what happened in those few seconds. I will not be watching on Saturday

I’m just glad I’m not the only one that this happens to. 100% not joking, the ENG against the Islanders is the only Canes goal I have seen live this whole playoff run. Every time they have scored I have either been out of the room or looking away. And I have watched every damn game.

This has worked for me in the regular season if I didn’t have tickets. All my usual actions to reverse a bad game or give good luck has not worked in the post season.

That’s how it is when I watch the Mets

I’m too selfish to not watch. I have to watch. Canes hockey into my veins anytime I can get it.
You can blame me.
