I wasn’t a fan at the time but Brad has done a great job so far imo. Most of his free agency signings last year worked out (or otherwise just got buried) and his trade deadline acquisitions were solid.
Thought he could have done better with the Nylander deal but at least he got it done.

Clearly the culture Shanny created by paying 5 guys most of the cap and leaving scraps for the rest of the team isn’t working. It fosters resentment.
The more shocking thing is that he believed it would create a great team culture.

I mean, this is purely anecdotal. Many playoff winners have important players who everybody knows the team wouldn’t be winning anything without… I’m worried this style of thinking is going to lead to more mediocrity

I’ve never been more confident that the GM role is in good hands. Most of Brad’s move turned out well, especially when he came in and had to do the job on the fly during those first few months. He knows what players to target and knows that playoffs team needs snot and grit. I’m willing to give him 5 seasons at least.
