I lost my mind in 1994 when the Rangers beat the Canucks. Now I hope to see them win the Cup again before I die.
I kind of went with the obvious choices. Avs from the West. I still like that. I had NYR vs FLA in the ECF with Panthers moving on, now that one IDK about right now lol Rangers look like the one team from the East that team can beat FLA right now. They look a lot better than FLA to me right now if I had to be honest. All I know is it's gonna be an EPIC ECF!!

As a lifelong Rangers fan that has never seen them win a cup, this playoffs season has been awesome
Also with regard to the awards, neither Mike Keenan nor Peter Laviolette were finalists for the Jack Adams.
Crazy how the Rangers are 7-0 and people still are refusing to respect them. Idc you don’t just fall into that. Rangers lack of shots is made up by being second in high danger goals, only behind the Avs. As a Ranger fan, the job is not close to finished, not even halfway their yet. But it’s just hilarious how people said first round exits all regular season, then said we will struggle once we play a real team, and now we are lucky or “are only winning because of one of our best players (Igor)” like that’s a shot at them… Rangers Top 6 is buzzing, PP buzzing, PK has scored more goals than they’ve allowed, and Igor has been unreal. People just looove to hate the Rangers, any other team would be so much more praised for starting the playoffs 7-0, but people just wanna hate and can’t enjoy
To be fair they have only played one real playoff team so far, beating the Caps is not impressive
I think with Rempe scoring the first goal of there playoff run gave the team some extreme HYPE….
Don't panic. The Canes make their opponents look like gods. They cant end a game to save their lives and their shooting is scuffed as hell. They got swept last year too. Caps shouldnt even be in the playoffs, so…
as a life long NYR fan, ive learned not to get my hopes up too soon. they look great but…1 game at a time. Playing Boston doesnt scare me, but Fla…could be rough.

The thing that I am seeing as a Rangers fan that is different this year and the last few years in the playoffs are the Rangers having more grit to their game they are now winning puck battles in the dirty areas of the game.

and they got chytil back – it's scary. I'm a Rangers fan and I've been suffering since '95 lol. Carolina is supposed to be the better team at 5 on 5 and they are visibly faster. Rangers have been great on the forecheck, PK & PP. And Igor has been playing like a madman – just locked in. They are also very deep – best depth in league imo. I have Rangers taking it all in my bracket … im in top 12%…. i have Dallas vs NYR in final… but im not sure if Dallas gets by COL now… maybe though. I have Florida beating Boston. Could see that series going 6 or 7

This is such a special teams. Rangers biggest Achilles Heel in previous playoff runs were scoring depth, depth at center, and special teams. We're now top 3 in the league in basically all those areas. Not to mention Shesterkin is playing OUT OF HIS MIND
I have a perfect bracket so far. I have rangers vs avs in finals. Highest finish was 56th overall the year I picked St. Louis to win the cup over the bruins. My team is the rangers so these are some happy times right now.

This team is so much better than the team that went to the Finals in 2013-14 other than goalie, and even then so far Igor has Henrik's save % that playoffs topped by a few tenths. But that team didn't have a single 60 point scorer. This team has 5 70 point scorers, including a 120 point scorer. This PP is lethal. The PK is absolutely embarrassing the #2 PP
They already stomped out the Caps like they should have instead of having to play an extra game, extra minutes, and not have extra rest. The Rangers NEVER do that. They always go 6 or 7, even vs the bad teams. I hope they can finish off the Canes and finish them off fast. They have a 3-0 series lead and the Canucks/Oilers are getting ready to play game 2…
It's very exciting. The team never gets down on themselves. Not scoring the first goal doesn't bother them at all. Being down in the 3rd doesn't bother them. Giving up that tying goal with a minute left didn't phase them. They came out and won the game in a minute and a half

This winning streak has got to end at some point. We're not going to go 16-0. I would like to see them go 16-0 but more importantly, I want to see them win 16 games. But here's the thing, dating back to the regular season the Rangers have won 9 straight now. If we sweep the series, then that means we HAVE to win the first two games in the ECF because they're at home and extend that winning streak dating back to the regular season to 12 wins in a row. Unless we're as good as everyone thinks we are, then yeah, slam the door on Carolina tomorrow and pimp slap Boston and Dallas(Dallas is my prediction to win the West) in 4 games.
