  3. Sick !

My 1st Pro deck was the Zorlac John Tex Gibson Pushead goat skull with the crazy shape. I copped a Zorlac Pushead T shirt the same day which I've still got..

  4. Gibson straight Leg-Dog. Epic style always. Blow out Site 1. Royalty status. That's wassup.

  5. Man.. this one… HE'LL YEA… sumthin bout the Zorlac timeline … there in th early- mid 80s? .. Hell, really just Texas all together… the skateboarding was just brutal as F. Lovin the 'Pipe Sneak' stories.. Feel like Salba sauce tells the story of rafting the gear around in there to film on Grossos 'Loveletters' but he left out everyone getting busted! whoops
Props props blood thirsty props on this one Schmitty!!! When I saw the name Gibson I yelled 'TEX!!!' …so psyched!

  6. This was great! I bought my first board, a Nash Executioner, from a dude that was trying to get money to buy John's Zorlac model. I did get his Alva board later, and yeah… that tri-tail pop!

  8. This was pretty awesome, feel like this only scratched the surface thanks Schmity and John

  9. When he talks about Zorlac taking off he ain’t shitting I was at SPOH 3 years in a row say 82-85 and the Shut up n Skate contest pulled in 10x the spectators the Frank Hawk ran NSA contest did. One years I didn’t think anymore people could fit on that acre of land by the way that was the place where Wild Bill Walker got his Pro Designed pads started. #SPOH

  10. My 1st pro board was a Zorlac John Gibson. I just got my new embassy OG Gibson board a few days ago. He said he has another board coming out though, it sounded like it wasn't coming from embassy. Does anyone know where can we get it?

  11. John Gibson is a living legend, he was the first skater to come from outside of California and not only compete but win contests. They should have talked about the first fakie "hangups" and the "bonedrecht". They should have issued a John Gibson Caster model, it would have done well.

  12. Skated Ceder Crest with him!! Learned what a true pro is. Thank you John for being such an influence and inspiration. Texas hospitality is second to none🤘🤘
