The Hurricanes had their backs against the wall and came out with speed and desperation putting the Rangers behind 3-1 after the first. As they have done all season, The Rangers were able to come back and tie it in the 3rd period off an Alexis Lafrenière goal but a late power play goal for the Canes by former Ranger Brady Skjei would wind up being the game winner. The Rangers look to close out the series at The Garden on Monday in Game 5.

I love the way they fought hard when they went down 3-1. Ranger fans, we are witnessing Lafrenier taking the next step. Should have had 3 goals tonite. He’s been awesome to watch. Rempe is not the answer. You need to roll 4 lines and he is not ready to do that against this team. Was Chytil too sore to play? Have to take Game 5. can’t give them any reason to believe.

The Canes swarmed and mugged the Rangers too much. Rangers need to be more physical. Glad they reduced the SoG to a reasonable level. I did say Rangers in 6 before this series started.

Trouba and Lindgren were finally exposed. They are the two worst defenders on the team and cost us this game. We had so many chances to put this one away and just an awful effort by our top players including Igor. Better step it up on Monday.

Terrible first period for Rangers but, they clawed back to tie. Canes lucky to get weak penalty call late in game. Monday night Rangers need to start strong and play tight defense. Need to get PP going again. LGR!!!!!
