Where has Joseph Woll’s impressive play come from? | Jay on SC

Joseph Woll has won back-to-back games and only given up one goal in each of them. Where has Woll’s impressive play come from? What were teammates saying about William Nylander after Game 6? Is the pressure now on Boston? Chris Johnston and Mark Masters join SC with Jay Onrait to discuss.

  1. The way you guys threw them under the bus makes me throw up in my mouth, very typical of the current generation, very 2 faced and yellow

  2. Woll was great this season until he got hurt. He eventually returned but he wasn’t in the same form. He seems to be back. Helps that his team is getting in the shooting lanes and suppressing pucks to the outside.

  3. Prior to getting hurt his play was great just like it is how just took a little bit to get it back after coming back. In my opinion he would have got rookie of the year if it wasn’t for getting hurt.

  4. He’s fundamentally built his style from ground up. Everything he does speaks volumes of his teacher and his discipline. Go get ‘em Woll

    GO LEAFS GO !!!

  5. Woll has always been a better fundamental goalie than Samsonov. He also does great under pressure, as shown last playoffs and these past few games. He’s the goalie the Leafs have been waiting for. It’s time to stop treating him with kid gloves and let him be #1 in the Leafs crease.
