It wasn’t going to be a quick series with Carolina but man the rangers are letting their guard down. I don’t think anyone expected this is how the series momentum would go.
Rangers fans really do turn on their team in a heartbeat, dont they? From their fans booing them in the 3rd, walking out before it ended and people now trashing them online, its no wonder they choke.
last hurricane playoff losses game 1: 4-3 game 2: 4-3 2OT game 3: 3-2 OT vs NYI game 4: 3-2 2OT vs FLA game 1: 3-2 4OT (was at this game this one hurt because we lost with 12seconds left in overtime) game 2: 2-1 OT game 3: 1-0 game 4: 4-3 (lost with 3 seconds remaining) last 8 games have been by one goal, 5 by OT in which multiple were double OT. impressive or sad?
The officiating is bad across the board. All season the zebras have been fucking terrible for no reason at all.
Missed calls. Bad calls. Not looking when things go down. Missing first actions, retaliation calls. Trips that aren't trips. Missed obvious embellishments. Goals called back that were good. Goalie interference when he is slightly bumped. No goalie interference when he is tackled and hung.
The only thing which has been obvious to anyone is that certain teams are getting more calls based on who they play against, which needs to be addressed before the entire league becomes an absolute shit show.
yes I'd be pissed too if i cared a whit about the Rangers. They got their butts kicked 2 games in a row now. We had Trouba as a Jet and he was a huge dissappointment when the chips were down. I've never been impressed with his leadership or his defending in crucial games. Maybe it's just the fact that he made it clear he never wanted to be here from the moment he was drafted, but I;m not wrong in saying he's never led his team anywhere or upped his game appreciablky when it matters.
No effort what's so ever last night , guys standing around , nobody is checking , no shots on goal , sitting on the lead and playing prevent after the goal we scored , panarin had a bad game , big guns were M.I.A , can't continue to expect igor to save you every night ,should of closed out the canes out in game , i think they just woke up a monster and carolina adjusted ,rangers haven't, terrible no effort night and the crowd was not good at all , they better play better in carolina or its over
As a Caps fan I find this very entertaining.Seeing Kuzy and Orlov having success with Carolina is sweet but having the Rangers squirm around after all the 2 sweeps talk,PRICELESS!! And Rempe,the Wilson wannabe,is completely invisible out there.
And that's a surprise? The series has been close with two OT Ranger wins. Carolina is the better team imo they won't go down easily. But again, if the rangers were winning by blowouts then I'd say I was disgusted with the current turn of events
I mean up until Saturday they hadn't lost in almost a month. They need some adversity. The third period was mind boggling though. Glad there are two days off in between games. They've figured it out all year. I feel they will still get it done and move on.
The one and only criticism I have for Igor is his terrible rebound control he is giving up a lot of Juice rebounds he is good at redirecting the pucks but watching him I’m thinking they will get killed both the panthers and Boston If Igor gives up rebounds like he has (This is one very small criticism of Igor’s game he is absolutely amazing in every other aspect that is just a small thing I noticed)

Rangers were celebrating like they won the series after game 3. Seems they forgot they have to win 4 before it’s actually over.

Stall is a work horse and a leader. Cane's an awesome team. No one should be surprised. Going 7 for sure.
