  1. If that's a call in the playoffs than every team would have 30 power plays a game. it's big boy time. Zadonov and Patterson better stop diving and rather stsrt playing big boy hockey or they are out in 5

  2. There was NO call because Kelly Sutherland was the referee, if the hit had been reversed Petterson would have had 2, 5, 10, a game, and the department of player safety would have suspended him for at least 5 games…. absolute B.S sanctioned 100% by Gary "The Count" Bettman… Game 3 in Edmonton Nurse and Kane NEED to be dealt with immediately… it's amazing what the loss of a few teeth and a butt end to the sternum will tell a dirty hitter.

  3. He's playing the back along the boards and gets slammed head first from two feet from the boards. Literally the definition of boarding, and the type of hit the NHL has been trying to eliminate from the game for years now with big consequences. Yet when it happens to Vancouver in the playoffs, NHL couldn't care less. Same with high stick that draws blood, directly in front of the ref. That's no questions asked 4 minute penalty every single time, but not against the Canucks in the playoffs. Or slew footing Hughes and pushing him to go sliding into the boards at high speed, another dangerous play that would typically be a penalty and possibly further repercussions, except against the Canucks in the playoffs. Yet if a Canuck gives McDavid a shove just after the puck has passed him, a scenario that literally happens to almost every player one or more times on every shift, that's an interference penalty in a fast paced playoff hockey game.

It's sure not the reason the Canucks lost, they can blame themselves and their atrocious third period for that, but the officiating in this game was just awful and hopefully that is brought to attention and recognized by the media and league. It needs to be better.

  4. He embellished that lol. He literally folded like a chair. Watched it 10 times and it’s clearly shoulder on shoulder

  5. How is that not a penalty? Possibly a major penalty. Nurse is a hack. Can’t skate. He’s the Oilers version of Ian Cole. Only he doesn’t score on his own team.

  6. Thank god you posted this prime example of a dangerous no call embellishment play that Pettersson keeps getting away with. I wouldn't be surprised if the league refuses to comment on #40's disgusting behaviour

  7. It wasnt from behind, and it wasnt violent or execcesively forcefull, which is typically required for a boarding call. Either Nurse is the strongest person in the world, or EP didnt protect himself, brace himself, or have any situational awareness.

  8. Nurse gets away, McDavid high stick, refs should be tested before games, certainly something wrong with them

  9. Dang in a playoffs with the rangers, bruins, and panthers. You couldn’t have convinced me that the oilers would be the dirtiest of them all

  10. Everyone says it's a hit from behind. You see can see his numbers the whole time.
Everyone says it's dirty. It's a clean hit from the side. Pettersson just doesn't absorb the hit and his left skate picks into the ice making him go awkwardly into the board. He probably wasn't expect 220lbs to ram him into the boards like that. No call. Clean hit. Next.

  11. He got revenge on the dirty Canucks for the after goal ankle slash on Mcdavid….that was an atrocious non call.

  12. Seems black and white to me. Pettersson is skating east/west behind the net parallel to the boards, his skates are both also parallel to the boards, Nurse comes from directly in front of the net and hits Pettersson on the side. What's the infraction here? Petey twisted himself and looked bad going into the boards, but it's not a hit from behind in any way, Petey is just light on his feet.

  13. Nurse is grabbing him as he’s going down to bring his head up, that’s on Petey tbh
