Series is over. Canes in 7. That game looked like an NHL team playing a bad high school team. Face it. The canes were the better team in Games 1-3 as well. The Rangers look broken. I predict the Canes smoke the Rangers in the next two games.

It’s not them losing that upsets me, it was the complete lack of effort. If they showed up last night, the series would’ve been over.
My band director is a Rangers fan, and the Canes are a secondary team. I told him I will personally pay him 20 bucks if the Canes somehow manage to win this series. I do not see that happening
i expected them lose a game or two by now but back to back loses after going up 3 in the series is rough. they have an extra day to rest and recoup until next game. i’m only going to be worried if they have another lackluster performance game 6.

Even if/when the canes dont follow through with a complete comeback the feeling that they could right now is why i watch and love hockey so much. These playoffs through and through have been the nest in years and im so excited to see what is coming. Only the top teams are left absolutely battling it out with no cindarella stories this year.

As a canes fan, I don’t want to get my hopes up too high. They can do this, but they have to keep playing desperate hockey – if they let their foot off the gas for a moment, it’s over. And the rangers can play better than this.
That said, I think getting four past Shesterkin last game was huge for the Canes. It CAN be done!

Last playoffs when the panthers swept carolina, every game was unbelievably close, carolina can easily come back
