    At this point, I think Nichuskin's career is finished. It looks like he signed a long-term contract with Colorado following their 2022 Cup win, but like the Dubois extension with Los Angeles, maybe a case of buyer's remorse (for different reasons) based on what has transpired since.

    With Ottawa it's not that Brannstrom is a bad defenceman,it's that Dorion loaded up with left shots.They shouldn't have made a move for Chychrun.The need was for a high end right shot.Thomas Chabot and Jake Sanderson should be the top 2 left shot d men.The size on the 3rd pairing and second pairing right shot needs to improve.Zub could play second pairing with Sanderson,but a top pairing right shot would be needed.
    What's the answer?The answer is to move Chychrun,Hamonic,Brannstrom and JBD for either 2 young developed bigger defenceman and a first or one high end right shot like Weegar.
    I think they should look to Salt Lake City for a trade.Jusso Valimaki and Sean Durzi.The other move to pick up a UFA left shot d man that is big.Joel Edmundson or another big man for a second to 3rd pairing but can still play top pairing when in need.

    What ever happened to Kapanen? I really thought with Dubas running the ship. Kappy would have e had a better chance to make the Pens team. The kid did good for the Leafs before trading him back to the Pens.

    Small wingers are a dime a dozen. The days of Kane are done and it'll shine through with bedard. I don't care who Chicago puts on a line with Bedard he will be bullied unless his bones are strong af.
