Craig Ramsay is definitely going to have statue built in Slovakia. We are so glad to have him and his experience on our side, his coaching time seems to be coming to an end, but he’s so wholesome and definitely helped shape generation of slovak hockey players including Slaf – he recognised his talent and launched his career to habs trajectory

I love this man so so much, amazing human being. Once he leaves/retires, he will be remember very fondly in Slovakia. Awesome coach, calm and brave, super nice, hope he has some years left in the tank!

Beautiful interview with him on the Sabres YT channel (he talks about Slaf too): [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ys9YelUjj4o](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ys9YelUjj4o)
Ramsay was an associate coach for 5-6 years in TB when MSL & Lecavalier were players. He was on Torts’ staff when they won the 04 Cup.
That’s the relationship (Lecavalier-Ramsay) that convinced the Habs to draft Slaf.
*Ramsay – sorry for that
