Avery’s first run w the rangers was really amazing, he was at his best on this team and the fit was perfect, he will always have a place in my heart

Hit the nail on the head. Either team could win this series….but we are Rangers fans and we have reason to believe it will be us.
Way too much negativity from losing two playoff games. Was the expectation somehow that we were just going to casually roll through the Canes? Fantastic start for sure, perhaps a little too much went our way, and it clouded people’s judgement and expectations. This was always going to be a 6 or 7 game series we just got there in an unorthodox fashion. I don’t see everyone and their uncle criticizing the Panthers for not putting Boston down in game 5 at home?
Now, after getting punched right in the mouth at the garden, it’s time for this team to do what’s it’s done all season. Rise up, get back to their game, and continue on. It’s only going to get harder from here on out. We will lose games. We will have heartbreak at times. There will be bonehead plays, missed assignments, and turnovers. This is nothing to criticize and panic about. This is what playoff hockey is and nobody hoists the cup without some bumps along the way.
Let’s go boys….we want the Cats!
