This is what we expect from the avs every minute they’re on the ice. A fight for the puck and hard work. The skill is a given. Some of the best in the world. But they still have to work and skate as near their top potencial as possible.

I anticipate that Dallas will clinch the series in Game 6, given that they are the more consistently disciplined team. However, Colorado is certainly capable enough to extend the series to Game 7.
I think the only thing I’ll get wrong about this series in my bracket is that I thought the Avs were going to take it in 6.

as a NYR fan if we can get thru the canes/Fla we'll win it all – purely cuz Igor will destroy Skinner/Silov/Georgiev (our old backup lol) and the BEST team and goalie (coincidence?) is Dallas, Oettenger is still not ELITE so he'd hafta play out of his skin but if we get to the final and face anyone but Dallas i'll be very confident, i think NYR/CAR/FLA were prob 3 of the best teams this year and all on the Eastern Side…EDM would worry me a lot more if they had even our backup Quick in net for them…
and this is when the goaltending really starts ramping up (or down) – Igor went 30 games without giving up more than 3 until the other day, he also plays out of his SKIN statistically: in the playoffs in general, after losses and ESP playoff losses and his 'must win game' record is unreal too, definition of clutch, despite the momentum and game 6 in CAR i still think Igor outdoes Freddy cuz we missed a LOT of good chances and need Laff/Mika/Panarin/Fox to get going again – the question is do u bring in more skilled Chytil or more physical Rempe (or more chemistry with brodzinski etc) but if we put up 3 i dont see us losing, hell igor could shut it down or allow 1 or 2 but if we dont wrap it in CAR ill be stressed AF but still more confident than not that we can win in 7, it looks bad to go 7 after starting 3-0 but every games been close since we finished #1 and #2 in the league with 3 points between us….Igor will be the difff though.

The Dallas defense looked like the Boston bruins. Turnovers in their own end. And so many defensive breakdowns. Lose just about every puck battle on the boards.
