Let’s face it the chance we were gonna get that draft pick was minuscule. It was a dumb condition in the first place.
Lots of random thoughts here. Let’s start with Aiden Hill. Pretty sure he made a name for himself last year with that Vegas Cup. I’d like to think educated hockey fans know his name by now.
Sucks we lost the first round draft pick. My bracket had a Dallas/Carolina Cup final. O well.
Finally, the way I see it is if Jake wanted to be here he would have took a discount. You can’t pay everyone big money. Look at Toronto….who I know was constructed by our own Kyle Dubas. So Jakes not coming back but I’m excited for Bunting to have a full season with us.
Entire Carolina team folded up like a Walmart tent as soon as that weak Krieder goal to make it 3-2 was scored. Ouch!
Brinad'amore even said "they are going to be sending their "D". They did (Rangers), but Carolina still sat back and tried to defend.
I think the Rangers make the Finals, just hope for Dallas to get there and beat them.
Shesturkin was just too good and the Rangers went into another gear in that third period – good coaching!
Ah, Krieder's first goal was the killer where Anderson had it at between skate and post but was too slow to react. The 2nd was a tip in that nobody stops. The 3rd was a cross crease pass that was just a good speed and timing play by NY.
Was screaming for CAR to take a timeout when it became 3-2. That's when they needed the message. Nope. Rest is history.
