I think Simon echoes pretty close to my concerns. Defensive decision-making just isn’t there right now, and his style of play on offense greatly limits his ability to make an impact defensively. He makes the same comment as I did earlier about how Levshunov pushes up in a forward role on the rush but can find himself out of position because of it. Levshunov is a very good prospect but he has clear holes in his defensive game which scouts are admittedly skeptical he can completely fix, which, for me, isn’t worthy of a #2OA pick over a more sure thing player.
