As an Oilers fan watching the interviews of our opponents…I think our current team is cooked. Major moves need to be made. No defense and goaltending. No real team depth even when it looks they have it during the regular season. Come playoffs its just the same cycle of running the 1st line into the ground. Last game they looked exhausted and couldn't capitalize even when we managed to get some depth scoring cause they are already burnt out. Rip to the Leon and Connor duo.

we've been treated to 2 of the best playoff rounds in the playoffs. aside from the fan bases in vancouver and nashville the first round was the least talked about or followed series and it was smash mouth hockey at it's best. toughest hockey i've seen since the 80's.
I am not shocked at all that we are here, a day away from game 6. Canucks are deep, hungry and tenacious. Their goaltending has been stellar. Hope we can go seven. Let's Go Oilers!!
Dont be afraid to use the exact same approach as last game, mostly because its how they will come out tonight, so why start off and play on your back foot why not go for it? Plus, Skinners vulnerable E/W just as much as Pickard was. If its not broke dont fix it. Lots of talking tonight on and off the Bench and lots of focus and lots of support for each other. Everything feels right, just go out and do the thing you do, be Canucks and that is how you will be all you can be. Plus…now everyone has this bug and your guys will be getting hit by it faster and faster so why not push the pace again and use your current energy advantage, because a few days from now everyone will be weaker and sicker. Go for it BigDog go for the throat and rip it out tonight. A wounded Bear is the most dangerous Bear. End it tonight.
