Marchand roughing on Bertuzzi – Have your say!

Brad Marchand picked up the first powerplay of the game by avoiding a late hit by Tyler Bertuzzi and catching him in the face in the process. Was it a good call? Have your say!

  1. Marchand is diving non-stop. As soon as he's touched he goes down. At regular speed you can see this is a hold. It was less egregious than what wasn't called before that.

  2. I’m torn about Marchand his is obviously a fantastic player. But it’s one thing to play hard and sure sometimes over the limit. But it’s stuff like this that make him a carrier ending kinda player. You think, nah that’s not so bad he is just avoiding a hit that’s all…. but then you see it time and time again. Sneaky and rat like. If I was a player on bruins I would set him straight. Maybe not he wouldn’t listen.

  3. There's nothing there. He avoids a hit, and his hands kind of go across Bert's shoulders lightly as Bert launches himself into space and falls over. No penalty anywhere there. There is certainly no hold.

  4. Refs are being told that we can’t have the NHLs home franchise lose yet again. No calls for Boston and if anyone on Toronto falls down the arm needs to go up.

  5. That was a rat whistle, anyone else it's a no call. If I was a conspiracy theorist I'd say the NHL wants at least 1 series to go 7.

  6. He needs to stop trying to take players down like he's in the WWE! He'd constantly grabbing at players when puck is no where near him and then players at times retaliate! brad, can't help himself with his goon style.
