I remember every time he got hurt all the sudden Vancouver would go on losing streak.
Easy buddy. Oilers are not done yet…
The only thing that was ever missing from Tanev was elite offense. Otherwise, he'd have won a Norris by now.
This isn't Tanev's first deep playoff run. He was a rookie when the Canucks went to the finals in 2011.
Best add of the trade deadline and it’s not even close.
best deadline pickup
Makar has never won a playoff series against Heiskanen. He has 1 cup, conn smythe and norris tho
He’s a stud
How is Tanev a problem for the Canucks? A bit presumptuous don’t you think?
This is caiden guhles ceiling IMO , very similar players
Yup, I've seen it for a long time… Tanev is elite in what he does… he is a quiet guy out there… does his work so effectively that for the longest time, hardly anybody noticed him… but I did. I'd love to have him on the Jets, and I believe there was opportunity for us to grab him this year for our short run playoff round vs the Avs… gah… what might have been. So glad to see him shine and recognized for his skill in stopping the best guys out there.. he's one of my top fave D guys in the entire NHL.
i wish he was back on the nucks
One thing i noticed about this whole Dallas team really but Tanev in particular is his stick is unbelievably good. There is 0 clean shots or passes and every board battle is won. Vegas under deboer was the same, must be a Deboer thing and Tanev just exemplifies it
Holy fck imagine Canucks traded for tanev Zadorov lindholm my flames could of used that awful ian cole to put us in the bottom of the standings for once flames cud have maybe cud of wud of sud of selected 1st or 3rd overall for the 1st time ever 🤔
Sounds like they were talking about his +- when McKinnon or Eichel were out like you said. They should of just said thst
7:00 hey bud, I think you jinxed the hell out of the Canucks.
Tanev is one of those rare shut down defensemen, watching him play has been a treat
Also its pronounced hey-skanen 😉
Dude it's "hay-skinen" not "hi-skinen."
Stars fan here, we dont win either series without Tanev, especially Vegas.
He was a plus 6 in that series! All one goal games (or + empty net)
Tanev is great, but on a team like Dallas where the team is more than just deep it’s also balanced, every player on that team stands out.
Oilers fans know how good tanev is and has been for years.
Hope you're ready for another Riot when Vancouver loses yet again only this time it's most likely Round 2 to Edmonton but if not Dallas will kick their arses in a short WCF……
Looks like Kazakhstan desperately needs Tanev
When Chris Tanev retires he will go down as the greatest shutdown defenseman of all time. I hope he gets a cup before then.
Tanev scored the OT winner in the bubble against Nashville?! That's Wild.
