Jeremy Swayman Reacts To Game 6 Loss vs. Florida Panthers

to the playoffs I think the whole year was an incredible year of growth not only for myself but everyone on this team and that’s what I’m most proud of it’s just these guys not taking no no for an answer since we were doubted from the beginning losing obviously huge pieces and everyone stepping up and and making a name for themselves and I would I would be a part of that a thousand times over if I could what was it like hearing the crowd to your name after the game ended tears tears I couldn’t be more grateful to have a city have a home base that’s that’s as supportive as as Boston and and they means so much more than just fans to me it’s it’s truly a home for me now and to hear that was was above and beyond and I’m just so grateful all love and support and uh and we wouldn’t be here without without them so that was a that was an incredible moment to be a part of your I uh just overwhelmed with with emotion it’s it’s not about me as an individual it’s about that’s about our team and and to see it all end so abruptly is something you never want to feel but I’m just so proud of everyone and and and being here and and setting the foundation for for what’s to come next and obviously I want to stay in the moment and really Embrace what we have in this locker room and and what we accomplish this year but that was a really special moment I’m very grateful what do this group meant to you this year family told these guys in the locker room after I said I’ve never loved the team more and especially at the pro level when when guys all have their own lives their own families every one of these guys took initiative to come to the rink every day and make this our family and I don’t think there’s many locker rooms in the world that have that and we we take it for granted at times and I think that we should really celebrate the fact that every day we come into Locker we know that everyone has each other’s backs away from the rink and at the rink and they put this team first they put this organization first and everything they do and again that’s that’s why I’m so proud to be a part of this team and proud to be a breu what do you see as next for both yourself and this team I’m not worried about that right now worried about this game what what did you see on the winning goal didn’t see it I wish I would have put the rebound in a better spot I remember I did see the release with the second shot and and there was a hole there obviously unacceptable

Boston Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman recorded 26 saves in the B’s Game 6 loss to the Florida Panthers, knocking Boston out of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

  1. Jeremy Swayman deserved better, and he was one of their best players this postseason!!!
    The Bruins should pay him!!!

  2. This kid is such a class act, he’s definitely the guy everyone should want on their team. Thank you Swayman, you carried this team. Cut yourself a break kid, it doesn’t and shouldn’t fall all on you.

  3. Keep ulmark. Get everythimg you can for swayman. Problem solved for this team. Sorry but thats the way to get some scoring forwards and ulmark is a great goal tender.

  4. Look you want the cup or a bunch of i love you guys. You cant cry your way to a cup. Sorry folks this is a tough sport. We will all have a barbacue after we win the cup. Family style.

  5. If you have your health you have everything. Someone wins and someone loses in hockey playoffs. Had Panthers lost Bruins would have had no care how Panthers felt. So now its on to nyr and win there babie. These players have good lives .

  6. Same front office, same players next year. The only change will be to blame coach again, fire coach again and same result next season.

  7. Sway, you are the future of this club and I really believe you will help bring another championship to Boston one day. Tough series but we were simply out skilled by a Panthers powerhouse.

Fingers crossed that sweeney finds another top centerman and some better help for sway for next season. Excited for next season! see you in the fall

  8. McAvoy owes his entire salary to Swayman. Good lord did he let the team down in this series minus the one goal.

  9. Conn Smythe Winner after two rounds…Swayman carried Bruins in tight low scoring minimum Bruins shots on goal games. He was a Giant!

  10. I hate boston ( all sports ) but I like swayman he is a warrior , just on the wrong team ! what a tough way to lose on a goal like that but it couldn't happen to worse fans ! totally classless for throwing water bottles at panther players and you can be sure not one of them was arrested !

  11. Obsession with this clown IS the reason
We lost. Doesn't deserve crap. Th Anderson is
Another as all we've heard for month's is him negotiating contracts.
We're screwed just like with Tukka all fantasy stats and NO CUPS.

  12. As a Panthers fan, I gotta give it up to this man! He's a damn good goal tender, and we had to put up like 42 shot on net just to score 2 of them. Hats off to Swayman

  13. Well one thing’s for sure, he’s the very last person to blame. He was the sole reason why this series didn’t end in five. A++ performance

  14. Sway… don't you doubt yourself for this game. You are the most reason your team made it to this game! I know I don't speak for just myself when I say this, but we are proud that you are a Bruin! Go B's! Next season is gonna be amazing… and I can't wait!

  15. Jeremy you couldnt have done anymore. You "emptied your bucket" pal and thats doing your job. You need more help in front of you. If we had anything that resembled a PP that could "extend leads" we would be doing you a favor. We dont have that. Teams like that dont go far. You're at #1 or "A" netminder. To see you in reg season and post season stand up and want to square up with guys. Hats off. Maybe you should have a C on your shoulder

  16. Love this guy! No question, we have to see him in a B’s jersey next year! I would also hate to see the Ully/Sway team break up.

  17. We knew he was good but this guy presented himself in these playoffs as Boston's stud goaltender. Once his new deal gets sorted, he'll be number one in goal for a years. The B's don't get past the Leaves without him. It's on Sweeney to use the projected $21 million in cap space this offseason towards building a bigger, brawnier championship caliber roster in order to not waste the championship caliber goaltending he's shown he can provide. 👏👏👏
