Hopeful, but let's temper expectations. Bedard had a good rookie season and his team sucked. It's a big ask for a teenager to move halfway around the world and light up the best league in the world.

Can we stop saying this is a rebuild, as we all know the Flyers always retool. The Blackhawks are rebuilding as they are completely turning over their roster and building around Bedard. We have a Head Coach who is going to push the team to the playoffs more than a top 5 pick. We have a nucleus of Konecny, Coots, Laughton, Farabee, Frost and Sanheim that are from the previous regimes Fletcher, Hextall, even Homer. . The Flyere were never rebuilding as ownership won’t let them do it. It’s a retool.
Torts will not be HC for long. Just don't like how he perks around some players especially the younger ones but keeps his buddy Thompson as PP coach when it gets worse every year and Thompson has always been terrible as a PP coach but hey let bring him back
