YOOO. I knew he might be getting traded but I’m just glad our management sees the potential in acquiring him. I’d give up a lot to get this guy. He could really accelerate our rebuild depending on what we give up. I mean he was basically put in the doghouse and led the Stanley cup contending hurricanes in points last year. This year wasn’t as successful in the regular season but he was great in playoffs. He can also play centre which is a huge need for us.
I’m not sure what the package would look like though. The hurricanes likely want players to play now and they wouldn’t be taking any bad contracts like Mang. So not sure who they would target from us
