He will definitely have a contrasting style than Keefe did but will he be any different tactically? I always wished that they would bring in Tortolla even for a season. It would great to see the reaction of this group of players the first time Torts went off on them.

It's incumbent on all Toronto media outlets to LOUDLY announce our desire to acquire the services of Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid, by outbidding all offers once they become available. The coach has little to do with it. The Toronto fan base deserve superstar players that actually want to win a Stanley cup, are willing to sacrifice their body/health to accomplish this..unlike the current overpaid "regular season dynamos" that wimp out come playoffs, claiming headaches, or a runny nose..give me a break..the reason Gretzky, Lemieux, Orr, Howe, LaFleur, Bossy, Crosby are revered as the greatest players of all time is because of PLAYOFF success, not regular season, sadly the current lot of overpaid Leafs will inevitably be forgotten like all the other guys that never one a cup if they don't produce, and succeed in the playoffs.. this is the worst choice ever – the leafs head office needs to be completly changed by 2025-2026 (ownership gone) leafs will be "rebuilding" by 2026 (2027 , 60 years , good luck by 70 )
I hope he can do what Babcock and Keefe couldnt do…i dont expect the Leafs to win the cup this upcoming season but making it past the first round is a must.

As a Blues fan, Berube is a very good coach no doubt about it, but I’m not sure he’s a good match for their current player personnel. The blues teams that played well under him were stacked with competitive two way players and veteran leadership. That said he’s never coached this level of offensive talent so who knows…
Also hes definitely going to infuriate the Toronto media lol. He doesn’t give you much or say much at all during press conferences. Very simple answers. It’s going to be fascinating to watch how they respond. He’s like the opposite of Paul Maurice when it comes to post game pressers.
PS you guys should target Binnington and bring him home. Hate to see him go and despite all the negative press he gets he’s a very good goaltender. Not elite but he’s an incredible competitor and when he’s on his game he’s lights out. Plus I think he would flourish at home and he plays his best hockey in the big games.
Anyways, good luck leafs fans! It’d be great for hockey and fun to see you guys in a cup final!
