Kids got hands that’s for sure.
Inflatable man reference was on point.

This is honestly who I want if Demidov isn’t available. I don’t think he’s as much of a sure thing as some others, but I believe his ceiling is higher than any forward in the draft not named Celebrini/Demidov.

How many top10 there are 20?
JamJam130
Hard to believe this is the most value we can extract with a 5th OA pick, he’d be among the worst OHL/WHL players in terms of draft year production to get picked in the top 5 (probably even top 10), alongside the likes of Barrett Hayton and Kirby Dach (played centre, 2 inches taller and seemingly played with worse line mates)
Seems like the biggest bet we’d be making on our development team yet, even more than the Slaf and Rein picks
Sennecke does show top 10 talent, but it’s hard to ignore the production. If we pick him he needs to be an OHL rockstar and demolish the league next year, anything less and the production concerns will remain

Dammit, I’m sold again on another prospect

You don’t need to talk me into this one I’m already fully on board here lol

I really like Sennecke. High potential. Still concerned with the lack of production in the OHL. Very risky at 5 imo
Vingt-Quatre
Top-10 is great but it’s not top-5 and that’s where we draft.
FlowShredder
picking him at 5 makes sense if Demidov and Lindstrom are gone.
Habs need a skilled winger, and he fits that, and he’s tall, with 18 months of gym he should be ready for the NHL in 25-26.
maybe it’ll trigger my ptsd to draft the late riser(kotkaniemi, sennecke) instead of the son of a hofer(tkachuk, iginla), who knows.

This draft is such a crapshoot, like more than usual. I don’t have strong opinions on the pick if Demidov and Lindstrom (assuming his back isn’t messed) are gone.
Sennecke has a risky profile at 5, but if he’s the pick I can get excited based on the tools.
Keepmeister
Sure but some redditor armchair scout told me that he’s the next Benoit Pouliot so clearly, he’s gonna be a bust.
