It’s over leave it alone and move on to next season

While this was certainly painful, I think it’s too easy to attribute a whole game to any one moment (though narratively, human beings do that instinctively).

Maybe this might’ve gone in, but maybe if anything else happened differently throughout the game, we would’ve tied or even been up much earlier.

Oh well, moving onto the next season with high hopes ❤️

This was a chance for sure. But Mikheyev missing the net on his chance in P1 was way closer, skinner was super rusty and Mik just couldn’t buy a goal. Looking back that’s the chance that would have been closest to a goal

Damn, I was almost over it and now I am feeling more pain. It was so close.

  6. Imagine if they had played more than 6 minutes of that game, or game 6. They got outplayed hard the whole time the oilers were up against elimination and that’s why they lost, not because of standard game of inches stuff

This loss was needed so Quinn could know what to work on in his lab this summer

What about Game 2 and Ian Cole scoring the game winner for Edmonton, What about, what about, what if. Dude. Move on. Its done. Stop dwelling on things you had no control over.

It’s good to see someone else obsessively examining the what ifs like me.

You could literally screen grab any shot and circle it lol, its done

The better team won. The team completely no showed in game 6 and the majority of game 7.

Let’s look forward to next season.

Brother, we’re at game two going on three of the west finals. This needed to be posted almost a week ago, at this point. Yeah yeah 5 days ago.

Canucks fandom making sure other fandoms know that we *earn* our reputation around here.

How about if Pete went on long term injury then we would have 9 million in cap space. Then he could still return in playoffs. Who could we have signed?

  15. Hardillosourus

Does that puck go off the front skate or right knee?
Because if it went off the front skate, skinner was never stopping that shot on the ice

  16. I’m over it. It was devastating for a few days, but that’s life. To say I’m proud of this club would be an understatement. Time to move on and just wait for Oct 10th.

This is like getting dumped and proceeding to text her repeatedly asking what went wrong. It’s over, settle down.

I still think about Viktor Stalberg almost getting a breakaway chance right before Kunitz broke me
