Let me know your expectations for the Penguins this off-season
Jarry has played his last game for sure he was a mistake
FECK UP, MOVE UP. DUBAS gets promoted to have a chance to wreck the Pens like he did the Leafs
Trade Graves and Rielly ! Pens need to toughen up they are a joke on defense , nobody clears the front of their net and throwing a crushing body check in their end zone is unheard of !
Tanger had surgery and it went well
You have been listening to the bad reporters in Pittsburgh. Jarry is going nowhere. Karlsson is going nowhere. Letang is fine per Dubas after surgery. The Pens need a LD to play with Karlsson. They need a 2nd line center that can help Malkin with faceoffs and the defensive responsibilities of a center. Marner is not even being discussed. Graves is going nowhere. Wasting time talking about stuff that has less than 1% chance. In the end Pens will move Smith and Pettersson. Upgrade at LD and add scoring hopefully at center. They will play more of their prospects in the bottom 6. They will try to create 3 scoring lines and fix the PP.
I don't think they know what they are doing. We are a old ass team with no future
Karlsson isn't being traded
Pitts was in a fork in the road. Pay your legends what they want while retaining their legacies as Penguins but kicking the inevitable rebuild down the road. Or trading all the those guys in the last yr of their deals acquiring top picks and prospects but, angering the fan base of trading away lifers and etc….either way, winning was not in the cards. But weirdly, either way was the right way. You cant fault Pitts with however they chose to go about it.
Things just didn't come together for the Penguins with GM Dubas at the helm–that PP was absolutely dreadful at 30th in the NHL–this is a team in flux but they may pull it together this coming season–will they make the playoffs? I think not.
