I PRAY FOR NECAS IN MONTREAL,BUT WILL NEVER HAPPEN….PERRON, DRAISATLE AND YOU NAME IT,THE GREAT PLAYERS DONT WANT TO COME IN MONTREAL FOR ANY CONSIDERATIONS..STAMMER, WILL NEVER COME TO MONTREAL…
I’d be surprised if any NHL teams want Jordan Harris.. basically a top AHL D-man at most… us Habs fans like to overvalue our Players..
Beck? a good core bottom 6. Barclay Goodrow was almost a point per game player in his last Jr yr., not much before that. Now look at him. 2 Cups great 200 ft player. Off course he is 6-2, tough as nails.
Houle…rewarded for failure, just cause of his name…another mediocre legacy coach.
Why would he want to come to the Habs? What do we have to offer? Caufield? Roy and a young D man? Many contending teams ahem established assets to trade for him and really need him to get to the upper tier.

Mailloux will be a Top 2 Dman for any team in the league, no way I trade him he’s part of my 4 untouchables on D. He’s a Weber/Markov those kind of guys, not trading him.

already I think youre giving up too much for necas; Mailloux AND Harris AND firsts… Mailloux and winnipeg's first is my final offer and im not even sure that's a good trade. Harris and Savard (salary retained) and winnipegs first… something like that. If I'm giving up one of the D men with a high ceiling (Mailloux, Reinbacher, Hutson) you're not getting much else and i think its a bad trade for else in the long run we will regret it but i suppose we can't keep everyone
Give them Matheson for Nečas and sign Pesce or Skjei or whichever other D will become free agent off of that team. Solved

The Carolina Hurricanes can pound rocks. Why bail them out of their cap space woes and gift them a star player and/or prospects? A smart GM will simply wait one year until he becomes an UFA and then offer him an attractive package and terms.

Mailloux is a non starter. Not for Necas at least. Then you want to add in Harris and a couple of 1sts? Why not your forst born, and maybe a leg.

Dude.. the real fit for Carolina is Matheson
The only guy I can think of that may fit the bill for Necas is Newhook. He's not a star but also not a slouch. Maybe Carolina takes a depth D along with Newhook, otherwise, Montreal doesn't really have much to offer if that's the asking price.
