I'm looking to possibly a buy #6 – Brock Boeser – Canucks jersey for my mom. (Her fave player haha – she never had a favorite player before Boeser).
I personally own a few jersey's but they are all Adidas made.
The only Boeser jersey's i could find available are the Fanatic ones. I have never owned a fanatic Canucks jersey or seen/worn/tried one on in person.
Questions:
what is the quality like for the fanatic version of Canucks jersey vs. Adidas Canucks jersey?
Is there a difference between the male version of the fanatics jersey vs. the female (in quality)?

I have both fanatics and adidas jerseys. Adidas don’t make women’s jerseys so all the women’s ones I own are fanatics. The women’s jerseys are a lot more fitting/body hugging. As someone who wears a street size xs, the fanatics women’s cut fits me a lot better. I wear adidas 42 or 44 and they’re very baggy, although they’re way better for wearing layers underneath. I can fit a hoodie and then some under an adidas 42 jersey.
As for quality, it’s no question that adidas are better made. However, if you just want one to wear on the game day or to the game, fanatics are not gonna fall apart on you within a year or two either. I’ve had some fanatics ones for 5+ years and I have only seen some mild fraying. I would say that the fanatics men’s prob fit the same as the adidas ones, with fanatics quality. I assume the women’s ones are the same as mine, both fit and quality.
The prices difference is probably due to the cut. They’re not outrageously priced, and honestly cheaper than if you were to buy them at team store/vanbase, because vanbase only has two options, blank and custom name and number. You can get blank adidas ones and put name and number on elsewhere. Someone just posted here a couple days ago praising the hockey shop, so you can look into that. I’ll look around for a bit and let you know where you can get adidas blank ones for hopefully cheaper.
Oh I wouldn’t buy fanatics, there’s a lot of threads saying how the quality is not good. If you aren’t in a rush, keep checking SVP sports(in CAD) daily as they have very affordable Adidas jerseys and they add stock at random times. I’m pretty sure I saw a Boeser one not too long ago. I’ve bought 2 jerseys from SVP and it was such a great deal.

Might be best if you post the size you’re looking for. Some people might be willing to offer one for sale but they need to know the size first.
SVP has a couple fanatics women’s left (older version with the word Vancouver above the orca), but they’re 3XL and 4XL. They’re $19.99 though so if the sizes work for you I say snatch one and have the name and number stitched on elsewhere.

I personally have two that I can part with, both adidas 42 blank. One is old third stick and rink NWT, one is new blue orca no tag. (I also have an adidas black skate 44 that I *might* part with, blank NWT. I’m not planning to sell it but would consider it so OP can get your mom a gift she’d love.)
