  1. I mean, for all we know, he very well could be a great teammate who is legitimately addicted to some kind of drug. It’s becoming pointless to speculate on all of this stuff because the nhl is airtight when it comes to releasing details.

Man. I’ve been an Avs fan since I was a 10 year old kid sitting in front of the TV in 96′ watching that cup run.

I love the team, but no part of me has any desire to hang around and continuously punch down on someone suffering from addiction. As a sports fan, yeah I’m really unimpressed. As a human, which means way the fuck more than the team, I just can’t get behind this stuff.

I hope he gets better and stays better.

  3. I know several people who do coke on an infrequent basis. That is to say rarely. They’re not addicts, they just like it sometimes. This is what worries me. Val may not be an addict, he might just be real selfish.

*IF* he can come back and be a productive and *RELIABLE* teammate, then I’d welcome him back, but if it’s shown that he’s just a selfish asshole who just wants to do whatever he wants, he can fuck right off.
