use the promo code clns to get $20 off your first purchase terms apply I’m Evan noski that’s Conor Ryan Connor what is up Evan I’m doing well how you doing doing great doing great uh Connor we got to talk about a troubling Trend with you something that uh it’s popped up it it it was reenforced on Wednesday night I don’t know what you’re talking about do you have a curse is there such thing as a Conor Championship curse I don’t believe so no I think that’s incorrect Evan in fact I I I strongly push back against such accusations that I A A blight on Championship contention well we’re going to need some uh we’re need some evidence on that side because uh you were at I’ll be I’ll be at the yeah I’ll be at the finals so don’t worry we’ll figure it out you’ll be at the I know yeah I I know I know what you’re about to say that the latest example is not a good one in terms of the case you’re making here but don’t worry were you at the 22 uh Celtics warriors NBA final too that is redacted information I won’t share that on the podcast oh my God holy crap you might be cursed you might be cursed I don’t think so I I I think that pwhl Minnesota played a great game in a clinching scenario on Wednesday uh up and low uh shout out to pwl Boston for a very successful first season um I think as unfortunate it was they come up shorten that game to see the energy in that crowd uh the cheers before the game during the game even after the game um where you had uh you know cheers for them even as you know pwhl Minnesota was celebrating um I think that’s probably the most emphatic stamp you have in terms of the the strides that that team in this league made um and I think only onward and upward for pwl Boston so shout out to them for a season and it’s not my fault that they came up short on Wednesday it’s not my fault Evan I love seeing uh the success they had in their first season uh the place was packed right on Wednesday night not a you know it was not an open seat there were uh standing room only very expensive I saw the ticket prices I was like whoa um also like songus very underrated place to watch a game I’ve always really liked the SAS Center I know it’s up in L and I would love for the pwhl Boston team to find uh a home kind of closer to Boston it’s very tough to get up to LOL um especially at that time but that’s a Gina like that’s a very underrated Hockey East rank in my opinion yeah exactly it’s like if I understand like wanted to go somewhere maybe more centrally located so you can get maybe more people from either the city or even like the South Shore I came from Gillette I was at Gillette in the morning and then drove up to L and that was an adventure but uh that’s the thing though it’s like yeah it’s not I think it’s just location wise it’s just can sometimes be a little bit of a headache for getting to song espe the facilities the arena are great like it’s like all you want to go to Boston do you want do you want to play at KY Forum oh oh go to that go that campus all again talking about being centrally located to go all the way out Newton go leave the city to get out to that to that [ __ ] house Spa so can’t do that can’t can’t do that um I agree and it’s great to see uh and shout out to Danielle marmer for a hell of a first year as a GM former former Bruin so um great stuff there unfortunate they couldn’t to pull it out in game five but uh it’s you’re going to need you’re going to need to have a bounce with the Celtics this is on this is now officially on I’m not going to name all the Championships people can probably do the math put the numbers together but I don’t know have you ever seen a your own the team that you’re covering have you seen them win a championship in person I uh covered the 2015 Cape Cod Baseball league and I was there on site to see one of the teams from the Cape Cod Baseball League win the Cape Cod Baseball League Championship so I think it’s tough to refute that one Evan you know what that might just be all the evidence that you need to support your case um it’s okay actually at the New England prep school championship so before every round of the playoffs I would do predictions piece and I was like scorching hot going into the championship in the semi-finals I got like final scores correct it was pretty crazy final championship day 0 for three baby 0 for three got them all wrong and parents had no problem just dunking on me at every turn and props to them I mean they deserve to be able to do that um so I guess predicting prep championships I’m not great at either so I guess we’re even you know what now that I’m thinking about this Evan let’s talk about the fact the Bruns have had two very successful regular seasons and I’ve been to all those and who wals in on Causeway Street in the playoffs all hunky dory then Evan maranowski who all of a sudden the Bruins either they can’t score they can’t do anything they come up short who’s the actual outlier here who’s who’s the Kaiser so who’s sneaking in and causing Havoc everywhere he goes I I think you should speak to your own actions in terms especially the Bruins perspective what’s going on here hey they did win a Playoff round this year it was very exciting game seven so they they did win a round and they did pretty much do what we thought they would do uh and at 2019 they went to the they went to The Cup Final they were you know they had a successful playoff run that year they just couldn’t pull it out so uh but yeah I guess I guess maybe it is me maybe next year I won’t go to anything if you’re if if you’re if you’re putting a curse down on me I’m dragging you with me I’m dragging you into the the the second third level of hell with me if that’s what you’re doing here on this podcast I’m taking everyone down with me yeah you’re just you’re you’re you’re uh you’re bringing me down and what’s best is the listeners right now are like shut the [ __ ] up listen everyone guys it is May 30th the season hasn’t even over yet it’s been raining all day I just took the trash in there’s nothing else going on right now like we got to make do we got to we got to fill time we got to fill time at the end we’re going to do our our top five favorite young Sheldon moments we’re gonna do I’ll take one three and five exactly if we get a snoy comet on this all of a sudden yeah we’re we’re GNA start talking about the Big Bang Theory uh How I Met Your Mother all these shows that I haven’t seen and I’m glad I haven’t but God help me we might have to get to that point we’re going to review late night television how bad those are now like’s your who’s your favorite side character of Roseanne Evan boy you could really get me going with that one you know so much so much there um anyways a little piece of news little tidbit um came out of Ottawa recently Bruce gerosa the Ottawa son wrote uh after failing in a bid to acquire a golender Lena h mark from the Bruins at the trade deadline in March Senators GM Steve stos and the club’s hockey operations Department are expected to make another pitch for the draft set for June 28th and 9th in Vegas the Senators Kings and Devils were among several teams that made a push for the 30-year-old omark before the deadline now here’s where things get interesting quote a league executive said Thursday he believes the Senators would likely have to offer defenseman Jacob chran who has legitimately never been not on the trade block in his career like every single year is getting traded along with a first round pick and another selection to acquire Omar even then he has the hammer because he does have the modified no trade clause which is the worst part about this I will say this Connor if that is the if that is the package for Lena omark whether it be with the Senators if he ever accepted that trade which I don’t know why he would but if he did or somewhere else right A A impact roster player a first round pick and then potentially another draft pick holy crap if that’s what it is I mean my God I think Brun hands would drive Lena mark to Logan Airport themselves well Evan I think when you look at that report from Ottawa we have to figure out who the league executive is because uh is it Don Sweeney because I don’t know how the how the how the hell that is going to be the return on we need like Conor McDavid you know exactly yeah again it’s so tough to gauge what the return is for a number one in terms of um these players and what they what they offer but even if it’s like on the high end of something it’s still like not going to be I think like a player with term or anything like that maybe it’s a first round pick but like I don’t know if it’s going to be a top 10 like I know what was it Vancouver got the number nine overall pick I think for trading Corey Schneider and they got Bo Horvat off of that like that seems like a best case scenario but like that would be the only piece maybe that was years ago and that was 2013 I think so like that is probably the best case scenario you know people look at Marty NES which again if you’re looking for a high impact player that makes a lot of sense and you could spin it in terms of like he’s a restricted free agent you’re gonna have to sign him to a big contract so that’s why Carolina would even dangle him but that being said it feels like you have to include another piece on top of that like you know omark and uh uh Fabian lysel or something like that to get that done like that seems like a best case scenario in terms of actual talent um but get a guy like Chan who’s under contract on a good deal for one more year but a legit top four defenseman a first round pick which I think they have to Ottawa but like I don’t know if you’re getting their their their own pick there in terms of that or another player as well uh I can’t see that being any situation in which Otto would actually dangle out on the market and as you said the most pressing thing here is what exactly is lenaar uh going to be doing you know would he even wave it for a team team like Ottawa because again we can play like the The Guess Who as to where he would go I can’t see Ottawa being a team that he’s uh rear and and ready to go play for when you look at the fact that their facilities aren’t really that great Ottawa is not really a hotbed place to go yes it’s not out west or anything like that but it’s also not a a very good team um so if you’re all Mark you’re trying to contend trying to get that number one spot and also like as a guy who’s going to be region next year put together a strong season would you rather go to Ottawa where like every year it seems like they’ve got pieces and then it all implodes especially defensively or would you rather go to you know a team like New Jersey who did make the playoffs but has good pieces and is due for a bounceback or a team like Carolina which numbers should be well in terms of how structured they play it just again I got two issues one even if Omar somehow doesn’t have Ottawa on his no trade list I cannot see that whole package being part of the return maybe one of those things maybe the first round pick maybe Chen uh but I can’t see that happening nor can I see omark being like yeah Auto was good I’ll take that I do wonder if that League executive is factoring in that the Bruins would be trading him in division right where like typically if you’re to trade a guy like that in your own division who is g to be you know potentially you know making a team in your division so much better or you gonna have to give up more for a guy like that um I wonder if that factors in too I gotta be honest I don’t have a huge problem trading Lena Sark in the division I know that you know obviously he would make Ottawa better I mean that probably improves them by a large a good siiz margin unless they just completely fall apart defensively in front of him this is if he went there but if you’re getting a return that’s like that or comparable to that or even like half of that I think it’s good to just get the cap space like I’m fine with it if he’s going to to trade somewhere like I’m okay with him going in the division and I know that people don’t like that but you got to have confidence in yourself like you have Jeremy San you have a good team you know Ottawa is going to be good at some point I also wonder if the Bruins could potentially convince Lena soul Mark like hey you know Ottawa you’re gonna be the guy there you know that’s all I can come playing 40 minutes outside of the city yeah yeah it would be great but they do have pieces on that Ottawa team right I mean that’s a team that has some young guys coming up every Bruins fan wants to trade David poog for Brady kachuck I don’t know why but they they do uh but Brady kachuck is a great player and great player franchise gotta build around a guy you want on your team for sure um you know guys like Jake Sanderson and uh you know clo jaru is still there so there are like CH there’s a chance that team could be good especially with good goal attending um so I wonder if there’s any way they could convince him to want to go yeah I mean you could you could make a a compelling case in terms of just being a a number one goalie somewhere and leading a team and and you know it’s like how we mapped out teams like you know Colorado or you know Carolina or New Jersey where it’s like they’ve got a good team they’re just missing that one component that puts them over the top maybe just having stable goal tending vaults auttaa up into that level of being you know not a contender but a team that’s in the mix which has has been the case the last couple years right so you can make the compelling case there but it does seem like based on all Mark’s comments um during breakup day he’s I think pretty set in his ways that um either unless it’s a team not on his no trade list or it’s a fantastic situation which too tough to pass up on I don’t think he’s gonna be budging like he Lo he loves playing here he loves playing with Jeremy Swan um so I I don’t see a scenario where the Bruins are going toble to force him to go somewhere he doesn’t want to go like if it’s a team like Carol Ina or New Jersey makes sense still on the East Coast still able to you know it’s still a six hour flight or six seven hours to Sweden it’s not you know 12 from LA or anything like that um but I just can’t see it being a team like Auto where I think there’s just so much variance that even if they got the thing is like if if the centers got olark and have to give up a top four defenseman like Jacob Chan to get it done you look at that team you you again as you said Evan like they’ve got good pieces they got some there but are are they a team you’re like ah that was the missing piece like ifar goes to Colorado you’re like [ __ ] Ottawa withmark we’ll see what they can do but it’s almost like you know like if he went to you know a team like Detroit or something like that where it’s like oh they’re better but like we’ll see we’ll see how the pieces work right I just feel like otta there’s still there’s still a couple other pieces missing there whereas you look at some of these other teams that are in desperate need for a goalie um a guy like Omar can make a world a difference is there anything worse in the NHL than being a team that just cannot lock down a goalie like you like you look at like the Leafs or the Oilers these teams that are contenders or you even look at like the Red Wings or the senators or even the Sabers like these teams that have young pieces but just get hampered by bad goal tending every night and you know whenever people are like oh the Bruins should blow it up you know this and that and I don’t think anyone wants to trade Jeremy Swan um or just you ditch this whole thing completely but as Bruins fans you guys should feel pretty fortunate that you don’t have that problem you have the complete opposite of that problem you have you have a lot of options in that um I want to get into the teams where I could see him maybe going we’ve mentioned a few of them there’s some others that would make sense at least on paper uh but first a quick word from our friends over at priz the finals are right around the corner and it’s time for you to get in on the playoff action and less it’s that easy now let’s get back to the show I was just looking at Twitter yaka blco has been tweeting about Lord of the Rings for like the last day it’s great I I love his it’s the offseason man it’s dayto day it’s great again same boat as us we gotta find something to talk about a long offseason you know I can’t do Lord of the Rings talk but you should get him on to just do like a whole Lord of the Rings episode so fans of Lord of the Rings can just soak it in listen man I I love the uh I love the film series maybe it’s my favorite movies of all time but like that dude could School me in the lore that guy he is he knows his stuff in terms of reading all the books all those things like I would be like Ian McKellen he’s a good actor that’s all I [Music] got well that’s all I got this would be like me with like super bad I can quote that entire I could probably quote that movie from like start to finish um because that is just such a how old were you in that movie came out movie came out was that 07 07 so I mean I I didn’t see it then but that was a movie I saw you know years later and even seeing it years later I was like this is the funniest movie I have ever ever seen and the craziest part is that movie was written by high school kids like Jonah Hill and um one Michael Sarah well Michael Sarah didn’t write it but um someone wrote it with him in high school it was Seth Rogan wasn’t it wasn’t he like to writer with it or something oh I think it was Seth Rogan yeah it wasn’t Jonah Hill it was Seth Rogan I’m sorry Seth Rogan and his friend wrote that yeah in high school one of our uh greatest accomplishments in high school it was uh 9th grade and we had introductory span spish at B academy and our teacher Senor Roma asked us like what popular film we should watch in Spanish just so like if it’s in Spanish you can like if you already know the lines you can see how it’s said in Spanish and like you know kind of glean like what what they’re saying and kind of pick up on it that way it’s actually a very helpful way to learn a different language it is and we all voted and said you should get super bad he’s like is it in appropriate we’re like No And we got like about 10 minutes into the movie before we had to we had to Pivot and they said uh they listed the uh I’m not going to say it but they listed the website that uh Seth Michael and they signed up to uh to go to college and that he was like all right this is off it didn’t take it didn’t take very long he really wasn’t paying attention it was only after they showed uh uh Jonah Hill his affinity for drawing something that he was like the dick drawing good I’ve actually went back and read uh like oral history of super bad and how it came to be and like uh how they did those dick drawings like I think they had one of the brothers I could be wrong one of the brothers one of the actors like is a good drawer so they had him draw all those didn’t they have the dick in like tienan square or something yes it a collaborative it was a collaborative effort in terms of getting uh getting it all together as Cat every film Project you need a full collaborative process yes you do uh but that movie super bad was outstanding uh wow we got way off topic fine the off seon EV we can do that reiterate we can do that um you it’s interesting when it comes to teams that Omar could go to um obviously he has the modified no trade uh which is not helpful because you wonder like does he just have the you know teams that have goalies as like the teams he would be traded to like is like the Rangers the Islanders you know the Panthers the teams he would go to and sort of these other teams that don’t have go but you mentioned an interesting point um teams like Carolina New Jersey these are contending teams where they are just a goalie away I mean Carolina is right on the doorstep of um going on a run uh to the cup New Jersey had a down year this year but is a young promising team with now a new head coach in Sheldon Keefe where like that seems like a pretty good situation to go into if you’re a goalie it’s also not far from the still close to the Northeast you know and it so um I wonder about those two teams um in terms of on paper I mean we mentioned La before that would make sense especially for La Edmonton like Edmonton really would if they did have Lena Sark they’d be cooking with gas um the problem is I just don’t I can’t imagine that’s on his list of teams he’d want to go to um and then you have Colorado which like again I think for him and I do wonder if he looks at it as hey I want to go somewhere where I can have a really good one season so that I can sign a deal somewhere I want to be um and you know if he goes to a place at Colorado tears it up for a year and then signs a long-term deal with like Carolina or maybe he looks at it and says hey I want to go to Carolina for a year tear it up and then sign a long-term contract there or New Jersey or something like that so maybe at some point like he just says you know what I want to go to the best possible team so I can have a really good year and just s I’ll suck it up for this year and then focus on the long-term deal after that maybe that’s what he ends up you know getting to the point of yeah I mean I think that is the thing too is you have to be cognizant of his not just where he wants to go this year but he’s a as you said he’s a pending free agent like he doesn’t want to go somewhere where you know you saw what he was in Buffalo right he was a he was a good goalie in Buffalo but the team around him was terrible so like that’s why his numbers still didn’t really like pop off the page like when they signed him he probably looked at his numbers like all right going to spend 5 million on this guy okay is he like your stop Gap kind of goalie or what is he and you like you dove into his like you know High dangerous save percentage and all those things early on you could see why I think the Bruins saw the value there but if you’re trying to max out your contract and you have a VZ trophy win uh you know on your resume but this past year you went to Ottawa and you got a 912 save percentage maybe your high danger save percentage looks pretty good but like is that going to be what people are going to look at when they hand you your your contract no they’re this guy’s what 30 going on 31 maybe going on 32 regressed over this past year maybe he’s not in the Bruin system maybe he you know like if you’re Omar and you’re trying to make do on the contract that you deserve after what you’ve done here in Boston um yeah I think for him it’s all about going to want a team that needs a goalie he’s not going to be a guy that’s probably playing 35 games or or even fewer than that um he’s not going to be a guy that’s not going to be the guy getting the nod in game one of whatever team he’s in if they’re in the playoffs um so for him it’s yeah it’s about being part of a contending team next year and proving his value but also putting himself in a position to get paid and again that’s why I don’t think I think not going out west has more to do I think with where he wants to go and his family not uprooting them which is absolutely his right but then also if it’s a team in the east as much as it’s appealing to look at that rumored Ottawa offer which I still don’t believe will be the case um I just don’t see him going to some of these teams where the returns in terms of his own play isn’t going to be reflected when you got the the structure in front of him which is going to be lacking in a lot of these different teams yeah I I can’t imagine he would accept a trade to a bad team I don’t you know even team like Ottawa I just can’t imagine it um and it is his right I mean that’s you know you sign that deal you get those no trade Clauses no movement Clauses you earned it you know like that’s your right you get to do that um but I do Wonder at some point if you know he sits down with his agents and says look you know here in Boston I’m going to play you know less than half the games going to play San a little bit more um and you know yeah I can put up great numbers but is it better to go somewhere be the guy play in the playoffs and maximize my value um I just I wonder if he I would assume he’ll hit that point um yeah and I would I would think he would want to do that um I want to get into some other areas defense Chandler Stevenson uh but first a quick word from our friends over at game time the NBA finals are right around the corner and if this tweet uh La Wednesday night uh and I saw it Thursday morning and I figured you know what let’s respond on the podcast uh so Van Allen on Twitter uh loyal listener loyal fan of our stuff so love you van uh tweeted listening to Connor and Evan on Bruins beat Connor poses the question would you rather have Sam Reinhardt or ellias Lindholm and Brendan Dylan Reinhardt isn’t that an incredibly easy question the Bruins already have plenty of decent role players what they don’t have is highend Talent they can’t afford to blow all this cap space on a bunch of mediocrity again they need impact players I don’t think he’s I don’t think he’s wrong I don’t think he’s way off to me I just look at like Lind Holm or someone like Chandler Stevenson right where like that PHS a need you need like you do need highend players but you really need higher end centers and I think Ellas Lindholm can be a high-end Center and I think Chandler Stevenson maybe not to the level of ellias Lindholm but I think he’s a good backup plan as a higher end Center um and then I think on defense a guy like Brendan Dylan you know I I think for long time I think they need a veteran left shot guy a true vet who’s been through playoff runs and can play first pairing but can also play Third prank kind of what you were hoping out of Derek forbert I think Dylan is a reliable piece to do that um would Reinhart be nice of course of course rard rard would be awesome kidding me like it’d be you see him in the freaking bumper on the power play in overtime the I mean that would be chef’s kiss but I think they’re just you have bigger needs right now than just going out getting the best the highest end player yeah no I I agree and again like with the brunes i’ to have Reinhardt of course so would 31 other team that’s why is probably gonna make 10 million a year um athletic projected his contract to be like almost 11 million annually which is crazy right so like again I I think it all comes down to areas of need and I think again the priority is getting a centerman and also like you look at ryanh hartt and how good he is I also think to maximize ryanh Hart’s play I was reading some like kind of Deep dive of how impactful he can be when he’s not the guy’s really generating the chances he’s a great finisher but if you sign him and your centerman are still Coyle and zaka okay and again like maybe he he’s not a 57 goal guy no [ __ ] right but like if you’re signing for 10 million you don’t want him to be what he’s been the last couple years which is 30 goal 75 80 points that’s a good player 10 million right like that that I think that is the the one issue is that if you don’t have the center the centerman um the rest of the lineup is still either disjointed topheavy however you want to put it like even if a guy like Elias lindol or Chandler Stevenson aren’t the guy they aren’t you know a dry CD or what have you obviously but um having another one of those players just makes all the pieces fall into place right if you have a guy like lindol or Stevenson who again maybe isn’t as flashy of a player but has a really high motor um has had you know what three straight 5050 plus Point Seasons you know maybe he’s still in the same mold as a a Coy and a zaka but either one of those players you get them they’re still going to be productive players at an area of need that helps your scoring punch you’re pushing guys further down the lineups whether that’s zaka over to the wing or if it’s Charlie Coyle on the third line um you’re putting other again good players uh in areas where they’re probably better suited to capitalize on their skill sets like as much as people look at the postseason and you need more from zaka and Coyle yeah that’s obvious but uh they’re still good useful assets for this team it’s just putting them in better spots to succeed moving forward I think is the AP thing um with this team you even look at like last year or two years ago when you had Eric Calla and you you know had to move things around you bring in a guy like you know you bring David Cree back pieces fall back into place when you have just another centerman that can put guys in better spots so I still think centerman has to be the priority but I agree with you that if the if the money’s right right like I think that’s the biggest thing is what with these veteran kind of left shot D but you kind of look at what the formula is for teams in the playoffs and you know cam NE mentioned speed up front there also a lot of size on the blue line I think if you’re able to get a guy like Dylan who you know maybe isn’t what he was when he was 28 29 but I believe he’s 33 but 64 Long Reach his underlying numbers still paint the picture of a guy that’s really strong defensively why you want this guy he’s not like uh you know Joel Edmonson who’s big guy but like the numbers don’t look great doesn’t move very well um if you’re able to get a guy like Dylan for you know short-term contract for two three million or something like that per year I I think it does stand uh to be you know an area that you should improve in because all if you all a sudden you go into next year let’s say you don’t get chicken or anything like that but next year your your six starting defenseman are makoy and lindol and Carlos lri Peak and Dylan Like Mako is your smallest guy there and he’s six yeah 61 but still hits like a freight train everyone else is over 63 I believe so that’s kind of what you want out of your your Decor so um I some people are worried about like falling into the same thing with a guy like forbert who had an up and down kind of trajectory but I think having a guy that has that bruising capabilities can block shots play those tough minutes is someone you should look at and investing in for the right price don’t sign nikito zadorov to six and six no I saw that oh my God what are you people thinking some of these things yeah can get out of whack but like guys like a like a Dylan who’s you know maybe an older player but still has good underlying numbers fits a need fits and identity which I think is what the Bruins are talking about quite a bit this off season of who they want to prioritize um I think a guy like that would fit but for the right price of course for the right price that’s the biggest thing and I I just I go back to like I know that PE people are weary of mediocrity getting mediocrity in free agency I get that Lind holm’s not mediocrity Chandler Stevenson is not mediocrity I don’t think those guys are mediocre those are borderline high-end I think Lind is high end and I think is a very good player very solid player right there so I I have no issue with that I don’t and I I think if you were to make me pick between Reinhardt or uh Lind and Dylan or Stevenson and Dylan I go with the the second option I do I want add Center depth and then fix a need on D because going in next year I mean grizz’s gone forer’s gone I think you do need um I think you you need a a left shot guy um especially a veteran one especially a veteran one and I I I want Wilders SPO as a seventh defenseman there’s nothing wrong with that but I don’t want I think if you can do it now again if you invest a ton up front and you go out somehow get Stam Co and lindol it’s like all right we’ll take 6D you know but um I think if if you know if you just do Lind Holm and another Wing like T Foley okay Dylan I’m for that you know so yeah Reinhardt would be really nice and you hit you nailed I think you hit the nail on the head with like you know if you put Reinhardt with coil and he gets 30 something goals it’s like it’s good but not for 10.5 mil i’ you I would legitimately rather sign brzi and another wing and recreate that production in the aggregate than 10 million for Reinhardt like you know that’s or yeah like I’d rather you could sign two players for that 10 million andate what and again like that’s not to say Reinhardt would I’d love if they signed Reinhardt and he provve me wrong and scores 44 goals next year and generates a lot by himself but I think you look at just how many goals he scores off of rebound shots tips deflections bumper on the power play you need talent around him to make the most out of to get the most out of player again that’s kind of a no [ __ ] statement you need a lot of talent to get a lot out of high-end scores but I think especially Reinhardt if you’re investing 10 million in the guy you get to put the right pieces around him to really make that investment I think worth it reinhardt’s money feels and again I I don’t know what he’s gonna end up becoming I haven’t watched enough of him to be like this is definitely what he’s going to be but feels like a guy that a team is going to overpay for um you know a middling team like a Detroit or someone like that Chicago Chicago is an interesting one like and the production Falls a little bit you know because again he’s surrounded by you know barkov and some amazing players kachuck down in Florida like Veri um you got guys like Montour passing you the puck so like yeah I just I wonder if that’s sustainable um going forward and I think he’s probably gone from Florida I don’t know how Florida retains unless say just Pony up all that money but they’re going to have some issues I mean you’re going to be losing at least one of him or Montour and then you’ve got more guys up next year as well so like they’re kind of in this little window themselves in terms of making the most out of a lot of these contracts so they are by the way listeners uh we love you and if you ever have questions debate things things that you disagree with us on like Van Allen did tweet it at us send it to us um we’ll talk about about it we weren’t disrespectful we were very kind unfortunate that you weren’t in there I would have put you it’s all right I don’t want to be like put in the thing with like getting hit on staro drive and like Karen Reed and all these other things 1. If Ullmark gets off to a great start next season, they'll be calling. And the cost goes up, particularly before the playoffs start.

  2. Ullmark will ride the bench in Boston or he can accept a trade and play for another contract. I’m sure there are several teams interested.
