Love Sal's passion. I understand what hes trying to say but hes not coming off correctly. Hes contradicting himself but hes ultimately saying that regardless of how they've been dominated in this series and Based on how everything else shook out. If they were scoring PP goals they would either be up or may have won already. Including Igor playing the way he is obviously. When put that way, yes, he is technically correct. It has been the "literal" difference. But there are also a million other reasons they're losing, so he sounds completely delusional in the way hes breaking it down.
