Sigh… So the 2015 ECF all over again when McDonagh played with a broken foot, Staal a bum knee, Girardi a hole in his ankle, and Yandle a separated shoulder. All of them except Yandle ended up needing off-season surgery.
The NHL playoffs are a gauntlet, and quite often the team that gets to lift the Cup is the one that managed to stay the healthiest.

He’s more broken than whole at this point. I like him and admire his toughness but unless he wants a cheap, short-term contract I hope they trade him.

Thinking of it now, we would have beat Florida if not for all of the injuries. We absolutely would have beat them. They barely got passed us in each game despite our injuries and average level of play. And they had to play dirty to do so.

Let’s be real, Fox is likely the only one who played injured
No one else played worse than usual besides lindgren (could be due to Fox injury), Trouba always sucked

Also, i’m ready to move on from Lindgren. Seems like the guy is hurt every single time the playoffs come around. Tired of it. Literally missing out on cup chances because guys are hurt every year. How about bench the fucking injured player instead?

It’s weird that we have defense depth and don’t use it when we need it. Lav more concerned with hurting players egos than winning? Ruhwedel would have been an upgrade over a hurt Trouba and I still stand by Jones and Fox being a good defense pairing, although Lindgren didn’t really play “badly”, just had his moments.
