Here's a thought re: Brayden Yeager….Given that he can't play in the AHL, and has nothing left to accomplish in Juniors, could he possibly play in Europe for a year? Playing against men would certainly be better than playing against 16 year olds…

It'd be great to see McJesus get the "hasn't won a Cup" monkey off his back, but something in my gut tells me that Florida's going to win the Cup in 4 or 5 games. Edmonton lost both of their regular season games against Florida (5-3 in Florida and 5-1 in Edmonton). For me the biggest question is Stuart Skinner and the Oilers defense. Will Tkachuk's net front shenanigans throw Skinner completely off his game? Will the Panthers high pressure forecheck break the Oilers D, and force them into frequent, costly, mistakes? Does the pressure get to McDavid and Draisaitl, so that they take stupid penalties?
You could speculate that Vegas was only able to out-Florida the Panthers because of Tkachuk's broken sternum.
They need to move Jarry even without getting value back. That they didn’t play him when the games were critical in March tells you all you need to know about their thoughts on Jarry
Rooting for panthers. I usually root for the eastern conference participant unless it's a team I despise. Rooted for vegas last year though. I don't despise the panthers, just thought vegas deserved it more last season and the panthers were lucky to get in. Took a pens choke job in final 2 games. As far as jarry goes, I don't trade him unless I'm getting a an upgrade at goaltender for him.
