Jim another very slow start how much of of it was was you and how much of it was them just being better me personally not time for jokes probably right um we started well a lot the first two games it I think you’re referring to Toronto series yeah yeah yeah we’ve had you know a couple of games where we started slow we haven’t generated much offense and you know we got to get better I have to give the players a better plan you know um Florida was significantly better than us I got to come up with a better game plan go ahead terara um Jim you you weren’t afraid to say last game we need some more from our big players this is in the postseason you make big plays are you getting enough from your best players yeah I thought um swayan pasta I thought they were our two best players tonight Emily is there any update on Brad marshand uh upper body um we’ll know more tomorrow Jim what did you think the officiating tonight do you think that kind of took you guys out of the game with the way uh you guys took too many penalties in the first um I you know what we weren’t very good for the first two periods you know I can’t really say that we earned any more power plays you know and the second period I thought we were coming and unfortunately we got the high stick you know in a stick battle fighting for a puck and that really changed the game you know I thought in the third period uh that we started to get juice because our crowd got us into it I um salute our fans for giving us the energy that you know we needed after that fourth goal went in on us K Jim the um penalty kill has been a strong suit for you guys the whole postseason it faltered tonight what can you attribute to that um I don’t think we’re on top of our game our execution to be honest the last two games last two periods of last game and the first two periods of tonight is just um not been good enough you know and that’s why I say I that’s my fault I got to be better were you surprised at the especially with the way you guys came out tonight um I thought we actually played pretty well um up until our first penalty I think and obviously they got some juice from that um uh in saying that I think overall um you know I think our effort execution has to be better obviously they’re very good team and uh you could see what they do when you um kind of take your foot off the gas per se and um you know I don’t think that we’ve been our best throughout this series and I don’t think they really have either so um you know we just got to do what we got to do to defend mice obviously next game and uh you know i’ I’ve said the whole playoff got to even kill um matter what’s going around you obviously uh we’re not happy with our position but it’s two1 and uh like I said we got to defend home L next game how do you take the last I mean I don’t I don’t think we have a that better of a start in the beginning of the game I think the first we were we were we were on it then we we take a penalty and the want to shift it again so I think I think our biggest biggest coner to to game was to to not take penalties for next games shiting momentum and they’re just playing they’re just they just getting and they score they score a few goals PP tonight so the thing think led to the problems on the penalty K tonight um definitely uh needing to be better at the net front there myself especially um yeah there was some problems there they created some Zone time when we didn’t get our clears um you want to get the puck down 200 feet when you can um but we’ll look at the video and try and learn from there I mean what kind of broke down on the penalty Kill from from your eyes you got to tip your cap to to their power play they they have a lot of talented players and and they get they get pucks to the net and so we can go to the drawing board and and look at what we could do better I haven’t watched the film obviously but being on on the ice we we know that uh they like to funnel pucks and and use the bumper and and we could do a better job of everything of you know making sure I’m seeing pucks and and blocking shots you name it so we’re looking forward to that and and making sure our poundy kill is is back and lock out like us
