  1. I’d go all out for Necas. Always around the puck. Plus moving forward, the Habs have to get serious about getting bigger players if they want to do succeed in the playoffs.

  2. Josh & Jesse, love your enthusiasm! IMO the only player Habs should trade up for is Demidov. He could be the most dynamic player Habs have had since #10. Apparently he will not be attending the Combine however w/o a doubt Hugo will be seeing him in Miami. I am all for Habs getting bigger however we need a difference maker so lets go for the guy who could possibly be like Panarin.

  3. one thing is sure they are gonna have to trade one or two dmen they got at least 10 nhl ready or realy close to be ready and whith the season mathison and savard had i think they are worth alot

  4. If it doesn't make sense to trade up, could we trade down? Pelletier, zary and calgary's 1st for 5th overall and Mesar… i dunno

  5. I LIKE YOU BRO, BUT GIVE UP ON BARRON,,,WHY,,,COSE HE WAS NOT DOMINANT WITH LAVAL, KEEP UP YOUR GREAT WORK GUYS,,,LOVE YOUR OPTIMISM, VERY GREAT.

  6. I think Kent Hughes will pass on all of the main guys. We won't get Necas. Zegras. Holtz. Rossi. I think Montreal actually will go for Tage Thompson. Hes off a down year and the Sabres are in a WIN NOW state. I think with maybe a Dach who is literally Tage Thompson with less offensive talent Struble a great young defenseman like what Samuelsson was and a young goalie in Primeau.

  7. after watching the worlds I was very underwhelmed by Zegras and unless thye get him for dirt cheap I would hard pass

  8. Ylonen has ability but watch his tape. He hits nobody ! He hits the boards near people but avoids contact. Don't move up unless it's Celebrini. # 5 will get us Iginla, Sennecke, or Lidstrom. I don't want a Russian with a high pick. Too many examples of busts or character flaws. The KHL used to be a talented league until the invasion by Russian. Foreigners are staying away making competition weaker. It makes Demidov look like more talented than he is

  9. Calm down bro.

Maybe if i'm generous, we have 1 chance on 10 000 to see it.

    Rumours are rumours, nothing more.

  10. Great job guys. Always positive and I agree it’s time do something significant but not short term gain for long term pain. Continue to build with the right players and make smart choices vs trying to please everyone now. I couldn’t ask for more, a fellow Newfie and another Poirier (Pear tree in English) like me. 😊

  11. Cole Eiserman is 6'0 and plays for Boston University where Hutson, Tuch and Kent Hughes son Jack Hughes play. Kent obviously loves the program, and I think Montreal can easily help Eiserman with his defensive liabilities just like what we did with Caufield. I wouldnt be surprised if we took Eiserman if Lindstrom goes to Columbus at 4th Overall.

  12. people who think habs should take Lidstrom just dont know everything in scouting. Learn the reason the kid is now falling lower in potential position taken…….

  13. I don’t think that we need to trade our fifth pick to get either Zegras or Necas. We have many picks and defensemen that we could trade instead. I would keep both of our first round picks this year and Iginla would be my fifth and Greentree the 26th.

  14. Arber & Baron are 5&6, develop them! Savard, & Harris should go ASAP.
    Are Kovacevic or Struble next?
by Feb., it's Guhle, Matheson, Logan, Reinbacher are top 4 then Arber and Baron.
Tiny Hutson gets a shot as a seventh, but beware the hype, we already have tiny Caufield with the under 9% shooting percentage and about 100 more shots than Suzi.
As the playoffs shows, it's not the # of shots, it's the quality situ, and size to power into the greasy areas.
Adam Engstrom is a terrific D prospect, 6-3, 200 lbs, skates like the wind.
