Just got this bad boy in the mail. I was thinking of getting it stripped and replaced with makar. I've got an extra cup patch too. What do you guys think?
why would you strip this and get someone else’s name on? i could see if it wasn’t an authentic piece, but this belonged to someone. keep their name on it (my opinion)

Do you know if this was used in his one game this season? Or is it just team issued? If game worn then definitely wouldn’t strip. I’d almost never strip a game worn jersey, especially one of a prospect that’s still young with a chance to break out. Imagine he becomes a stud and you’re the guy who stripped one of his first jerseys!
I’d keep it as is, at least for now. Try and get either a training camp team issued of a low prospect or a tryout and use that for a Makar instead. If Olausson busts then you still have it on hand to customize later on.

Don’t strip it. I got a TJ Tynan GW jersey recently and for a split second I thought about it, but damn that would be disrespectful AF to the player, even if he only played ~20 games with us. If it’s a TI jersey, then sure.

Stripping it would be disrespectful af in my opinion. Who cares if it’s not one of the top guys? It’s still a professional hockey players jersey whether worn in game or not, it was made for him by the organization. That’s cool as shit in my opinion.

If you want to sell it and buy a makar signed jersey do that instead but let someone who will take care of it as is have it and get something you want.
