  1. There’s an unwritten rule in this game and Tkachuck definitely broke it.
He might want to stay off the tracks for a while.

  2. Tkachuk is just like his dad. Lots of cheap shots, but no guts to back them up. It was right on the numbers, a dangerous hit that could have damaged Zack. The fact he got away with it says a lot about Bettmans NHL attitude. Tkachuk better use his rear facing eyes in the next western team games.

  3. its funny how all you crusty man baby's are getting mad about the hit. like geezz he should keep he's head up

  4. This is what a CHICKEN looks like………..I can’t wait for Kassian to rag doll this chicken sh_t again. Lucic has more respect for Kassian than his own teammate………priceless!

  5. Even as a flames fan I want to see Tkachuk drop his mits istg. He pummels Kassian in a fight and this is all done

  6. Hockey players should be allowed to pack knives in the game. A couple quick clean stabs would teach him a lesson.

  7. It’s only a matter of time until Tkachuk gets knocked out by a focused “clean hit” like he’s been using. He would be better off fighting because most likely the revenge is going to come in the form of an injury. He better keep his head on a swivel.

  8. If you won't fight him stop charging him and going after his head you coward! I am not an Edmonton fan but I don't like chickenshit.

  9. One of the dirtiest hits in Hockey. Targeting the head is dangerous. I'm sure Kassian will even the score. Calgary fans will cry the Blues when there little pretty boy gets smashed.

  10. This kid is a dick, like his dad was, but he's more of a loser because he won't fight after he crosses the line.

  11. Not much of a Kassian fan but even less of a Ketchup Fan. Turtle, rag doll, wimp. Move like that would get him kicked out of my 50+ league. He has no honor. Would have loved to see Kass knock that mouth guard down his throat! Even KK who is by no means a fighter stood up for his habs teammate last night.

  12. Thank god for these coaches that actually understand the game and that this stuff is in the sport

  13. Eventually someone will take Tkachuk out with a vicious hit and he'll learn that if you're going to play like a pussy then the entire league will have you in their cross hairs.

  14. IMO. It was a dirty hit. Boarding if not charging. He had every right to smash the fucker down. I prob would've done the same thing if I could have even gotten up

  15. Just remember Tkachuck is a star and Kassian's a joke. 7million a year vs. a 1.18 m a year. Out played, out hit, out earned, and in the end his team won the 2 points.

  16. Basically, if tkachuk keeps doing things like this, he might have a short career from huge hits taken literally because he won't drop the gloves. This works in the regular season, but come playoffs this part of his game is gone because dirty hits happen to players like him. At least his dad wasn't afraid to drop the gloves, which is why the tkachuk name means anything.

  17. Kassian embarrassed the fuck out of that man. He got ragdolled. And beat all the way up. “I’m not fighting him” no… you were UNABLE to fight him.

  18. I can’t wait to see this kid get crosby’d and have concussion problems from all the hits he’s gonna take when the refs start turning a blind eye to him being the victim of retaliatory penalties.

  19. Can't believe how many people are talking about him turtling. He's never even given a chance to fight back yet he's the dirty player? Dumb af. Let me grab you from behind, punch you, throw you to the ground and punch some more and see if you start blocking.

  20. No one in the league has a complete game like Matthew…he can do it all just like Gary Robert's

  21. Calgary coach: "It's boys being boys." Tkachuk: "If he doesn't want to get hit, stay off the tracks." "No, I don't want to fight him."

If you're going to play that style, you better be prepared to answer the bell. Yes, I know he "fought" Kassian. That wasn't a fight. He turtled right away to end the fight. Your coach said it, "boys being boys". You're a repeat offender with dirty hits and tactics. Slashing one player as he's escorted off the ice. Spearing another who is on the ice while you're on the bench. Those are just 2 of the 3 suspensions you had in 2017. 3 suspension in 9 months! I will be happy when someone ends his career. His brother is just as bad.
