Canucks fans are the worst
The 4:50 mark of the video features a a claim of it having been wrong to call an entire sports organization "trash." It is however legit to comment on flaws of a team's roster, and this postseason there no doubt were for the Winnipeg Jets. I wouldn't go as far as to call them frauds but to call them serious Cup contenders is overrating them. Not since a 2018 trip to a conference final have they won even a single game beyond an opening-round series, with their last 9 relevant games having all featured 4 as the minimum number of goals they have allowed. That they've won even one game is remarkable although that game, 7-6 in regulation over the Avs of the first game of that April playoff series, featured so many goals the Jets had allowed that I'd wondered if they would win another game in that series were their defense continue to be so putrid. Those Jets didn't win another game in that series.

honestly bad move by sportsnet to remove a guy who had fair analysis on the panel because he told a bunch of clown manchildren fans clown manchildren adults…yes some of the comments about the canucks org etc were not good but he should be given the opportunity to address that on air and move on..snowflakes pandering to snowflakes smh
It's not accurate that he was removed, this is the group that sportsnet feels is their A team. They didn't give a damn to personalize the broadcasts to the Oilers and their fans. The fact that Principe isn't included is a joke.
You even mention that this happened before his comments. He was a 2nd tier analyst and they are paring down the crew because there is only one series now

For real, back in the day, Sportsnet had a forum. It got shut down around 2012/13 because of the toxicity, particularly towards Canucks posters. Ironically, I felt most welcome as a Canucks fan on CalgaryPuck.

SportsNet just made a business decision that makes sense. I understand why he got emotional, but he needs to be more professional when in the public eye. This is a big nothing burger all around. I'm a Canucks fan, I'm not toxic. I'm not crying the Oilers beat us. I'm actually cheering for them in the final. They beat us to become Canada's team, so bring that cup home, and we will return the favour next year.
