This it? Coach. Rayzor. How you doing? I hope you’re not coming back in to play again, are you? No. Music to my ears. Every time I used to come into the office it was bad news so… So, you know what Saturday is? I happen to, Rayzor. Do you? You know what, it is the 25th anniversary when we went to Texas to visit the Dallas team to play in the Stanley Cup Finals. Yeah. And you know what else, Rayzor? Your birthday. More important it’s my birthday. The greatest day of the year. Second greatest day. One of the greatest things I remember about that team was we didn’t have the superstar. You had Miro. You had Pecs. You know Brownie, these guys that were your scoring guys. But it was just a bunch of guys that just did their job. Dixon Ward. Guys like that. Jason Woolley. Smehli, all those kind of guys. Retro. That just kind of just played their game. The strength of almost any team is when everybody feels important. And I think that group, everybody did. Everybody had a role. How about that first game when Woolls being the guy who scores the game winner. It was just great. Yeah. And I think we got that from Woolls you know, most of the year. Yeah. But again, a big part of our success again was kind of the depth of our crew. It just didn’t have to be one guy. And at different times, guys stepped up. That was a big goal for us. It was a big goal. You hear about it all the time. Trust me, every time you see him he talks about it. – [Ray] He makes sure everybody still remembers. – [Ruff] I haven’t seen or heard from him in a while. I wonder what he’s doing. I wonder if he knows. What do you say we give him a call. We’ll give him a call and we’ll see. That’d be great. I haven’t talked to him. I don’t know if I’ve talked to him since he scored the goal. Well, you’re not missing much. Here he is. Woolls. Hi Rayzor, how are you? What’s going on? You look uh… Young? Skinny? I don’t know. Keep going. The exact opposite of you, right? How are you, buddy? Good, good. Just sitting here with Lindy and we were talking about Saturday being the anniversary of our game one of the Stanley Cup Finals in ’99. Oh my gosh. Was that unbelievable or what, Rob? It was. It was a good time, wasn’t it? It was unreal. Say hello to Lindy. Woolls, how are you? Coach! Just sitting here talking to Rayzor going over the, that big goal you scored in Big D. Yeah, I never forget that day, brother. I tend to throw it in the old… you know, put it on Youtube once in a while, and just watch it. Just the smiles from the bench. That’s what meant the most. The fans going crazy. Well you keep watching, it keeps going in every time you watch it. Yeah and so does the last goal, too. Yeah. Do you slide across the living room floor and a couple fist pumps when you’re watching it? You know what Lindy, it’s funny. I was in Buffalo about 3 or 4 months ago with Rayzor and the boys for Ryan Miller’s event. And, I said to Marty Biron on set, I said the only thing I regret is I just had no room to celebrate. You know what I mean. I literally scored and ran into the glass. There was nowhere else to go so. It was kind of a boring celebration but it is what it is. Yeah. It’s still a good one to watch. I just really appreciate you guys calling. And it’s always great to reminisce and if we can get some of the boys back, Lindy, over time I would just say that as an alumni, it means a lot to us. You’re 100% right, Woolls. Alright, bro. Yeah you nailed it. Good seeing you. Good talking to you. Okay. Thanks, guys. Have a great summer.
