[Cam Robinson] NHL Scout on Tij Iginla: “I’m betting he’s the next best in the class (after Mack). Already overwhelming with puck pursuit. Elite handles, a great shot, physical… he’s got his dad’s attitude too. That puck is his and he wants it.”

Sign me up for any “high motor” player. Sabres went a decade where our high motor guys had no skill and our skill guys had no motor, and the results speak for themselves

Sabres aren’t going to come close to sniffing Tij Iginla.

  3. Did you guys read that article about the draft yesterday from the scouts perspective? Basically, every scout has their guy who they think can be a star. It’s hard to discern what’s fact from fiction from opinions only because one scout would rave about X prospect and the next scout would bash X prospect.

When there is no consensus like this, it means there is a pretty great potential to find a star at pick 11, which makes me less inclined to trade it, but I understand if we do

If the Sabres don’t trade their pick, I strongly prefer that they use some of their other draft picks or prospects that are “stuck” to move up for either Tij Iginla or Zeev Buium.
