Next year will be 50 years since they won a cup it's the same bs every year lost interest in them after going to games for 45 years
If TK agreed to 8.5 mill for 6 years then Flyers would clearly do that deal. But we are hearing that his agent might be looking at 10-11 mill year. Problem with that is TK isn't that level of star. He might be top 40 player but thats top 15 money. Tough call for Flyers.
If the Flyers sign Konecny for 8 years They Will regret for long Time
The Flyers Will not make playoffs next year and problaly the other Too , not enough Solid in the middle and at defense position
If it was up to me, I would trade Konecny. They are too full at RW and if they keep Konecny long term, they'll be struggling to find ice time me for guys like Foerster, Tippett, Michkov, Brink etc. They still have Hathaway too. If Konecny gets anything more than 5 years at $8-9 mil per, his contract will become a problem at some point and they'll be forced to trade Tippett or Foerster or Brink. They are in year two of a rebuild. Year TWO. It's not the time to start overpaying guys. I actually hope Konecny wants big money and they're forced to move him.
no more than 4yrs and 7.5 for TK. otherwise just trade him away. You need some players that can play hard, that have some teeth
I agree no long term
Get rid of Konecny in a package for other players with another young stud hopeful at the center of the return. They can’t give him what he’ll end up getting with an extension. Like others are saying, it’ll be a contract they’ll end up regretting long term. He’s got one goal in 22 career playoff games. No one wants Marner in a trade for the very same reason. I love watching the guy play, but at his very best, he’s a second liner and a regular season second liner at that.
Bad organizations sign TK’s of world to superstar money
He will get no less than 9.75 …… 7 yrs

This is crazy talk. Sign Konecny?? Get rid of this guy. Perfect age of 27 ? This chick knows nothing. I've lost all respect for you people.
If you cant get him for 6 yr around 8 mil a year you have to trade him for other players or picks. You can't handcuff this team with salary contraints for years to come like in the past.
Give him $800 million
Nobody cares
He’s too small, loses every puck battle, goes offside constantly, is not a good PP player, has maybe 3 years left, and you have other players (Foerster, Brink, Tippett, etc) that can make up his goals. Signing him to a big extension is a terrible decision.
10 years $300 million should make it happen…
