Who cares if Wolf is good enough right now. Does it matter? This guy is a player they need but not mortgaging our newly found youth for one piece. Trade Markstrom for futures
Sharangovich was also a bottom six when calgary picked him up. Buying low is not a bad idea. Picking up Necas would be smart from a asset management perspective since he's a 25 year old RFA. Carolina isnt looking for draft capital anyways. It would be a Markstrom/Andersson/Kadri(retained) going the other way.
When is management going to learn patching holes when the ship the sinking doesnt work? When our neighbors up north did a proper rebuild and are now in the finals? I'm done
If it's Markstrom straight up sure but other than that no,

If we aren't trying to get Gavin, we will never win. Ownership has to change.
First move they should make is for Moon to be the play by play announcer
It really depends what management sees as the timeline.
If they think Necas can resurrect Huberdeau and the team can compete in about 2-3 then go for it.
If the flames aren't going to be competitive for 5+ years then stay away
