  1. I know this has felt inevitable for quite some time, but it is looking even more likely to be the case.

If not Cowan, I wonder who takes Gregor’s place in the lineup

  2. elifreeze

Whatever. Vanilla player who’s fast and not much else. Shouldn’t have been in the lineup in Game 7 but Keefe is gonna Keefe.

  3. DevOpsMakesMeDrink

Looking forward to him scoring against us when we play whatever bottom feeder he signs with next season

  4. mikesully374826

Still can’t believe he played 63 games.

  5. A player who’s mediocre 99% of the time, and then suddenly becomes the best player in the league in those brief 1% moments.

It’s weird how generally average he plays, then out of nowhere becomes FANTASTIC for a single play, then goes back to average again for a month or two.

Noah Gregor wasn’t much for us but he scored the team’s first goal of the season and nobody can ever take that away from him. I’m not gonna spit on the guy on his way out, he was signed for cheap and he delivered a performance to match. Best of luck wherever you go next, Noah.

Idk I liked his play. He was fast, exciting, made stuff happen even if he wasn’t a great passer or finisher. I honestly think under the right circumstances he could excel on a team somewhere, you can’t teach the kind of speed he’s got.

  8. shanster925

Now who will go flying into the offensive zone at top speed and do nothing?!

  9. Guy was wish.com kapanen, and kapanen is barely an nhl rosterable player

  10. PreacherCoach

Good in the first half, non factor in the second half.

I liked him, but not surprising.

Really wish Jarnkrok was on instead of him when Boston tied game 7

  12. johnnyjj14

I was always rooting for him and he had glimpses of greatness. After seeing him a full season I’m ok with him moving forward. I feel like this was in the cards as soon as we acquired Dewar.

  13. GritGrinder

He scored a nice shootout winner 🥇

Thank you for your service good sir

  14. For a guy that was on a PTO at the start of camp I honestly didn’t expect much. He played fine early on and disappeared down the stretch. Not surprised the Leafs aren’t going to qualify him since they need every bit of cap space for Free Agency.

Good skater. Made poor decisions. Good luck wherever he lands.

  16. Icy_Imagination7344

He was a memorable plug, best of luck to him

  17. james-HIMself

Thanks for the hard work bro hope you land on your feet for another team

I was really excited at the start of the season for Gregor. Then it just slowly went down hill all season long

  19. Actual_Cobbler_6334

He’s fast and it ends there. Oh well.

Would’ve been fine with him back in a cheap depth role, but not a huge loss either. He was good on the PK, had some good straight line speed, and a great shot (specifically off the rush from the left dot area), but again, not a huge loss.

  21. TheGreatJizzo

A good depth player, I’m sure he will get signed by somebody.

  22. iwatchtoomuchsports

He has no major complaints from me, did what he had to do given his lack of expectations, he was ok.. replaceable though. Have a good one Gregor

  23. NoPantsSantaClaus

    Big loss.

    First step of the rebuild.

  24. No-Background-4906

How does this affect Marner’s contract?

  25. Ta-veren-

There’s probably better guys for the same price so I understand this one.

  26. Noah Gregor is such an interesting player and I hope someone else gives him a chance, we just don’t have the space for him. Hes largely invisible on the ice but he has those stretches where he’s suddenly like the fastest guy with a quick release and a hard wrist shot. He probably only had like 10 or 15 of those moments in the season, but he looked like a legit middle 6 forward on those 10-15 shifts and if he can get some of that together, he could be a legit NHL player.

Tldr, he’s not very good, but you do see the flashes and the moments where he’s shockingly good.

  27. Wanderson90

Guy has a wicked shot. If he can find himself in the soft areas more often, he can be a nice depth piece somewhere.

  28. Francis33

Makes sense. Robertson and Holmberg are better.

He would be good insurance for Reaves but we have Steeves for that. Unless he wants to sit in the press box for most of the season, this makes sense
