I wish they would go back to the 1-8, 2-7, etc, playoff format. It's a disgrace that the Avs played the Jets in the first round. Just doesn't seem fair at all. What's the point of having all that success in the regular season just to get matched up against the best teams? Who cares about the stupid divisions.
His cap hit doesnt help at all. Team is unbalanced. We keep seeing the same issues with Avs, Leafs, Oil, etc – guys get paid, no money left to make a balanced team and they dont win. Key is to win when people are cheap. Pens, Bolts did this well.

For all the justified hype around him, MacKinnon was bad in this series. Not saying the loss was his fault, but he definitely didn't play well.
