The All Time Best of the Nashville Predators

This is one of those teams that has a shorter history, but it is an interesting one.

  1. I have a Lotta respect for you and your opinions even if I don’t agree with them necessarily, at the minimum I understand the logic and thinking behind it which makes me respect them. The best thing for me is the one that got beat by Sidney Crosby, hands-down. And if it wasn’t for the economics, I seriously think that that addition of the Nashville predators could’ve won the cup. I think the theme was a Drop the Mic moment for David Poiles career.

  2. The best player for Nashville is…Shea Weber(or was) if it’s not him then it’s Forsberg.

  3. My favorite on the team currently is Filip Forseberg. Growing up my favorite was always Shea and I couldn’t really give a good reasoning behind it, but it probably had to do with his ridiculous slap shot and he was the captain when I started watching hockey, but that being said I think it will probably end up being Pekka when all things are said and done. They are definitely retiring his number once he hangs it up

  4. I guess this team proved that having great goaltending can lead a team to playoff success but if that weakens it doesn't matter how good the team as a hole improved, playoff success will not tend to happen.

  5. Actually I believe she (with his blessing) legally kept her surname of Underwood because of her public image. Could be wrong. But no, either way she isn't Carrie fisher. And that's coming from a Nashville native.

  6. I've been waiting for this one! Yay!

Josi is the best defenseman that I have seen. I have been a fan for a relatively short amount of time (5 years) but I do not see many other defenseman skating or making plays like him.
I agree with your best player(s) as Josi, Weber & Rinne. All three have been a face of the franchise for a long time.

The beast team has to be the 2017-2018 team overall. I watched as many games as I could & I can say with certainty that they are. The 2017 Final Preds just had that magic & drive to get there. They are the best when it comes to the playoffs so far.

  7. The whole 2017 roster,tootoo,weber,1999-2007 roster are all my favorite players spent 14 years 3 hours east of Nashville close to Knoxville. Im 21 now

  8. I gotta go with Josi, he must be the best all time. And the Preds were way better in 2017-2018 but the Jets were just too damn good… maybe if Nashville went to the Conference final they might have eliminated Vegas and advanced to Cup final

  9. Yes! Pekka Rinne has been so good, he has not let in a goal since March 12th. Also, lovin’ the jersey. Thank you for making these videos during this pause. Lets go Preds.

  10. Not Weber. Definitely Rinne. Best team was the Finals team with Neal. Once Neal was stolen by Vegas the attitude changed. I think there was a certain effect he had on the team to be aggressive and shoot instead of making that polite extra pass.

  11. I agree with pretty much all of your points. I think Weber is the best all time, but I agree that I think Josi could take that spot by the end of his career. I think the 2017-2018 team was clearly the best. I think it's important to mention how good that 2018 Winnipeg team was and that it went to a grueling 7 games. The 2016-2017 was a decent team but that playoff success was mostly the product of timely momentum, great depth contribution, and a remarkable performance by Rinne in my opinion.

  12. NASHVILLE PREDATORS IN THE HOCKEY HALL OF FAME

    01. 2014: Peter Forsberg
    02. 2017: Paul Kariya

  13. IMO at the end of his career, it's gonna be Forsberg he's a fantastic player and he's gonna threaten those totals

  14. Notable predators player's you forgot to mention area Scott Hartnell, Marek Zidlicky,JT Dumont, Steve Sullivan,Cliff Ronning, Darcy Hordichuk and Greg Johnson besides Kimmo Timonen, and Hal Gill

  15. My All Time Predators Starting Six:
    Goal: Pekka Rinne
Defense: Shea Weber – Roman Josi
Forwards: Martin Erat – David Legwand – Filip Forsberg

  16. Anyone ‘member when both Kostitsyn brothers played in Nashville together? Or when Radulov bolted for Russia? How about Vesey refusing to sign with them after drafting him because he wanted to go to a “playoff contender.” Ahh good times.

  17. I think you're right the 2017/18 team was the best. The potential was there to win the cup and person for person they were the best. But I won't remember that season. I'll never forget the 2016/17 season. There was something magical about that.

  18. this is off topic and has nothing to do with this video, but am I the only one who can tell who likes hockey and who doesn't just by how they say the name of nhl team/player names? i live in tennessee, and my mom say the word predators so wierdly.

  19. The very idea that Nashville has an "All time best" list is totally & completely hilarious to me. Ya'll know Nashville sucks right? Always has.
