I don't have the words to describe just how epic this win was tonight. No one was expecting an 8-1 victory. They finally solved Bobrovsky and the offense was fully unleashed. If Knoblauch has found the formula, then it must be generously reapplied. There is belief.
panthers just want to win in front of their own fans, this is all scripted, (just ask bettman, this is all about money) the only reason the oil looked OK tonight is because of the panthers not the oilers, they will be right back the their usual sloppy, unenthused play. all the same players, nothing has changed, skinner's a backup at best and nurse will get at least one (maybe more) assists on opposition goals.

This man right here is what has me concerned. There have been multiple games during these playoffs where the Oilers were up by multiple goals and quickly shifted to a super defensive playstyle. I highly doubt that is was the team just coming together to do that. This almost lost them multiple games. This game shows why they need to just keep the pressure up. The Oilers are an insanely offensive team, and it is quite difficult to handle. I really hope they keep up this pressure, and don't try to play crazy defensive, if they get a lead.
Nah florida didnt just give the game away. Just alot of broken plays that panned out for the oilers. Im glad to know that the panthers could never of beat us this bad at all 😂 and this was a statement game for the oilers haha
Kris is the coach that I wanted for the Rangers this year. He was a terrific coach in our organization, and he did a good job behind the Rangers bench last year while filling in for Gallant.
Regardless of how this finals series turns out, I believe that Kris is a very good coach for the Oilers in the future as well as the present.

This is the last chance for the Oilers Head Coach to throw in another plug for Mumford, to show a little more support for the work he has done inside the Oilers Room.Dont be shy with the accolades now, after all where you go one you go all.
