Saying that you know anything about hockey would be a false statement.
How in the fuck does Brown get a penalty for this? Ref's can be real douchebags I tell ya.
I don't really know hockey too well, so can anyone tell me what the penalty on Brown was?
When you get slashed in the back of the knee your leg goes numb. He didn't dive. Smith is one mean tough goalie who likes to dive himself on occasion.
I've been hit in the back if the leg by my in the same way. I didn't fall down like I was shot
All goalies should do that, it would stop players from standing right in front in the crease. I know I would if I played in net that would piss me off if someone stood in front of me.
smith got his money's worth on that.
Dustin Brown got what he derserved.. fucking bitch
Amazing Smith didn't fall to the ground pretending to be injured for ten minutes.
So what did Brown do?? and now Smith is fair game after that one.
So let me get this straight, brown gets a penalty for falling after he gets the back of his leg smack?? What did you want hI'm to do laugh about it lol. oh well GKG!!!
Did the NHL ever comment on this farce of a penalty. Also, After this series and the beating he took and gave out….Dustin Brown has never been the same… Imho.
That was not delayed and he got the slash good that could have broke his leg
what did Dustin Brown get as a penalty? is it illegal to get hit by a massive stick.
Brown deserves every hit he gets.
That was a pretty vicious swing by mike smith. Even had a big wind up. This one was definately not embelishment by Brown. If you know anything about hockey equipment you know that there isnt much if any protection on the back of the shin gaurds.
lol brown almost fell
I used to screen the goalie … until I took a stick to the knees.
(Sorry, bad joke.)
Gotta love the performance Brown puts on around the 25 second mark when he is skating away.. GREAT SELL
Dustin Brown is not one of the nicest guys, so no wonder Smith did that
i've seen Dino Cicarelli take harder slashes than that and still managed to keep going. What a sissy league.
So surprised that smith did not fall down too
No delay and Mike Smith is such a piece of shit. Announcer's comment; "What Mike Smith did there… is nothing new to the game of hockey. You try your best to be discrete…" is as classless as Smith's slash. Nothing new to see here from Phoenix.
Smitty is an angry human being lol
Let's all be honest right now. The NHL got what was coming for them here. I only wish he was injured for a few seasons. Show him that you can't be a dick to a team and get away with it. The NHL refused to stop any of this by not fining Brown from the initial hit that sparked the whole rivalry. Any Kings fan that is happy the way this pathetic excuse for a "rivalry" started, can go take a hockey stick to the back of the knees from Smith too for all I care. Crappy queens captain, crappy queens team.
Embellishment? That is ridiculous. Mike Smith intended to hit him hard, hit him hard, and Brown gets embellishment. That would hurt.
I remember that series. The coyotes are assholes.
What did brown even do?
How the fuck did brown get a penalty
Savage mike, he gets to kick ass and give the dude he fucked up a penalty xD that's perfect
I HATE MIKE SMITH AND I HATE KETTUJOUKKUE
Dustin Brown hits someone and their fans hate him now. If you don't like your players getting hit don't watch the game.
gotta love that guy all the way from the beginning of the clip who is giving the finger to everyone, typical yotes fan lol
lol mike smith, his short tempered nature sometimes costs the team too much in penalties
I have always wondered if Brown went down with an injury, would it still stand as embellishment penalty!
Brown got that penalty because 1) PLAYOFFS! and 2) His rep at the time for being an unrepentant diver. Smith almost killed Mike Richards the same way after Penner scored the series winner.
How Dustin Brown gets a dive is fucking beyond me. What a fucking joke.
Nhl has the worst officials in sports. I’ve never seen so many missed calls in any sport.
Kings won the Stanley Cup in that year 2012. Mike Smith won the Coffee Cup. He is with Calgary Flames now. Doh!
Nasty slash. Wouldn't have surprised me if they gave Smith a double-minor and no penalty for embellishment. The slash wasn't from from being worthy of a Major penalty
Dustin brown is the only guy who played in the league that I didnt care that this happened to. Fuck him, he deserved it.
Poor officiating at a Hockey game …….. WATA SHOCK !!!!!
Almost forgot what a piece of shit that Mike Smith is….not really, I totally remember.
Brown is better than me. I would've flipped shit and got ejected if I git a diving penalty on that
Imagine believing Brown is trying to embellish a penalty when they're on a 5-on-3 power play.
One of the dumbest calls I've ever seen.
Here's hoping that Smith's punishment continues until the day they drag his ancient body off the ice for the last time. Whereever he plays, deep inside, this is the player he was. But to do that in front of a referee is just beyond intelligent comprehension. It's just a shame he's now got Draisaitl and McDavid covering for him!
Crazy to think Mike Smith is still starting at 42 and is in the Conference finals
