Berkeley Catton or Iggy Jr. would be great forward adds

Sennecke is my dark horse at #7. I know Catton or Iginla have been the focus for alot of us (Forward wise, defenseman have been the biggest interest) but man Sennecke is like a Matt Boldy/Batherson mold to me and he’s a right shot winger which we are literally just as desperate for as RD. Outside of Batherson we have legit no right shot wingers to replace Giroux and Sennecke could be an awesome pick.

Our scouting team often favors late bloomers. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s Sennecke, especially since his name already includes ‘Sen.

I don’t think he’ll be available at 7, but I desperately want Lindstrom.

He’s an absolute menace. Him and Brady would make an incredibly skilled and physical combination. And I think their games would complement each other too. Brady is a finisher more comfortable around the net. Lindstrom’s game is more built around posession and playmaking. And he is extremely comfortable in the corners and dirty areas.

Just imagine two 6″4 players who hit everything that moves, play with skill, and fit well together.

The way I see it, there are 6 players whom I am seriously considering.

T1. Demidov, Silayev, Catton <- I would be *ecstatic*

T2. Dickinson, Iggy, Lindstrom. <- I would be legitimately pumped

I’m hoping we take one of the defensemen, but I’d be so hype about Catton or Iginla too. Feels like it’s really hard to go wrong at the top of this draft.

Iginla and Catton are the forwards I’d be pumped to get. I doubt Demidov falls past the Habs but I’d put him above those two if he’s on the board. Lindstrom I’d love but the back injury does concern me enough that he’s comfortably 4th among forwards.

  8. Holy shit the praise of Sennecke is crazy, I wonder how much he’s shot up in the rankings
