The best thing would be to get at least one top-tier dman for Marner. Whether Marner wants to help this along is another matter. His agent seems to be a bit difficult. Never learned to play with others or something.

If I was a player I would definitely want out of Toronto. They are going to resign Marner most likely and it will be another early playoff exit for the amount of years they sign him too. Hes way too soft and with Nylander and Tavares and to an extent Matthews being soft players its going to be the same old nonhit team for years to come.
